Interesting that now it's time to start projecting for 2021.

Here is a projected starting in a 4-3-3

Llanez-Pepi-Reyna
-Milijevic-
-Otasowie-Leyva-
Bello- Carrera-Araujo-Scally
-Ochoa-

I'm sure others will emerge. I'm pretty high on Thomas Roberts as an attacking midfielder as well. I put Araújo as a CB because I don't see many young CB's really coming up. And the hope is Nico Carrera gets his US citizenship before this years U17 WC. I could also easily see Kobe Hernández-Foster start ahead of Bello at LB.

De La Fuente is age eligible as well. So he will definitely be in the mix as a winger. I could also see Trayvon Gray at CB. Where I think he eventually projects at.

Pretty sure there a few more outside Llanez and De la Fuente from this cycle that will be eligible. Either ASN or ESPN had an article about this being a young team for the tourney. As an example Soto won't be 19 until July. Wouldn't he still be eligible? Or is it only '01's?

Age eligible are: Ochoa, De La Fuente, Llanez, Araujo. Either just recently turned 18 or 17 still.

Soto will be turning 21 in 2021. Age eligible are 2001 and younger.

I like Damian Las the goalkeeper from Chicago and Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez the forward from Seattle as players that haven't yet been listed but that I think have big talent. Maybe a Griffin Yow as well has enough to make the step up to the u20s.

Don't sleep on taylor Booth he could be the best player yet to come out of RSL academy (even though he now plays for Bayern) under the much derided Martin Vasquez (who has quietly been one of the better academy coaches in America) which is a list that includes Glad, Brooks, Ledezma and Soto amongst many others. Booth can do everything and has a winners mentality. I expect him to be a leader on the next u20 team.

Keep up with the latest moves by Americans around the world during the January transfer window.
