I spend some time reading the Chelsea FC forums when they are playing live. It gives me a much better feel for the game than the match center I have open on Goal.com. I work on weekends and can't watch the games. Anyway, the Chelsea fans believe that Pulisic is their best player and it's pretty much everyone. Most fans didn't rate him when he first arrived, . . . but now, wow. I am guessing Lampard understands who his best player is. I personally think the Lampard is just being careful with Pulisic since he gets hurt a lot. He held him out of the Arsenal game because they were most likely going to lose anyway and why risk him? The fans hated it but I thought it was the right move.

Ironically, being a long time Chelsea fan (since the 80's), I too visit the forums. All you said is true (except I think you meant the Liverpool game).

Having been on the forums, would you also say that the fans perceive a definite Mason Mount bias by Lampard?

Wow, I sure did mean Liverpool, never post when your weary. Yes, it has been said plenty. The fans don't rate him as highly as Lampard does. Personally I think they are too hard on him.

Yep and we can probably kiss him goodbye for a long while.

Maybe he gets a good prognosis, but I'd say he is doubt for the start of the next season. Didn't look good.

He's always going to be this kind of player where he may or not be available for the USA we just have to get used to that.

I won't say always just yet. He does seem to get dinged up but Chelsea has built depth that will come into play next season. Unfortunately, he will have a shorter time to recover with a shortened off season.

But I also wonder about the training regiment because Caesar going down to with the same injury, as well as, Kante. It makes me think a trainer problem. It would be interesting to find out Willan's injury as well.

Given his importance to Chelsea and the fact he's going to be bubble wrapped means to me we won't see him for USA except for the very big games.

Or he might not be. Difficult to tell. Hamstring injuries are common. My guess he will be out until middle September. But there is something to be said in building up those muscles. As Kong's as he takes care of his body during this recovery period he should be fine. It's being said it's a strain, but the way he yelled out it definitely looked more than a strain.

Lampard is going to make a big deal about Pulisic needing rest. Pulisic has slipped international breaks before I just can see Gregg having to work around this issue rather than work with it. We need our players healthy
