Hopefully, Pulisic continues like he has the first half. A nice assist and unfortunate the goal disallowed

So 3 games in a row that Pulisic sits on the bench. Looks like Lampard does not rate him at all.

As I said if he wasnt on fire to start the season he would be the one to be dropped. He is American there is still a huge American bias in the EPL. I have stated many times American players should not move to the EPL. He should have stayed at Dortmund.

He may eventually play well for Chelsea, but it's far more likely he becomes a Salah/ De Bryune situation. Also he needs to make the decision to be the guy.

It's early and if we are honest at Dortmund, Sancho appeared to be better than CP. I look at Mason Mount and believe CP is better but MM plays with more grit. Willan is really good but I think contract is expiring. Chelsea knows what they have in Pedro. Hudson-Odori looks awesome in the small sample size.

I think CP should fight it out. I think he can surpass, MM but not sure he has the football knowledge of Willan and Pedro.

But saying this, I think he should've signed with Liverpool in the first place. Working with Klopp would've been the wiser choice considering Sarri was already under pressure, Hazard was looking to leave and the depth of wingers already on the roster.

Idk if he should have stayed at Dortmund, but he should have moved somewhere besides England. Also, an equally/underperforming Englishman will always get the nod over an imported player, especially an American one. See Henderson, coming from a Liverpool fan.

If he had to go to England, it should have been Liverpool...great coach and stable environment. But he went for the max money and all the pressure in a much worse environment...with the big money come huge expectations. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

He might actually make it yet at Chelsea.... Don't forget players like Dempsey always had to fight their way into the starting 11. If he can stay and win a spot it will speak volumes about his grit and determination. Let's hope a little Dempsey rubbed off on him before Deuce retired

Don't tell me there isn't a bias against American players when Pulisic is wide open and Barkley refuses to pass to him. Shit has happened all first half.

This isn't a performance that will earn CP minutes during Prem play. Largely anonymous performance.

That's 3 assist on the year. Not bad for a player not playing at his best yet.

CP will get his chances at Chelsea, but he has to earn them.

There are so many variables that we should not write him off just yet. I don't think that Lampard has soured on him or that there is an American bias...it is just that Chelsea have a lot of similar players at his position with more EPL experience or better form at the moment.

Willian is a Brazilian international. He is a bit overrated, but he is familiar with the Chelsea setup. Pedro played at Barca and is familiar too. Age is against them continuing however.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount grew up at Chelsea and have a familiarity with Abraham. They are bot England internationals.

Right now in the scheme of things it is simple...others have seized their chances. I think if they had not had two injuries on defense he may have gotten some minutes against Liverpool to replace Willian, who to be honest was somewhat ineffective.

I do not think going on loan is the answer. He should continue to work and take his opportunities in the Cups to show improvement.
