A big congratulations to all these guys is due they stuck to it and rode their luck long enough to create some chances to win. Many players have done themselves proud and we will see what this next game brings against Ecuador. Their confidence should be high and that is important. Many times in the past I've felt we've had too much of an underdog mentality whereas these guys believe they are good.

Can Llanez go a full 90? Extra time may be playing into the coaches thought process as well as the fact when the opposing defenses tire as a substitute pair Llanez and Ledezma can really get space and make defenders make bad choices.

I'm always a Tab backer I think he has done an excellent job yet again. There can be nitpicking over his coaching tactics or lineup choices but there's no doubt he develops players on the field and mentally off the field. He gets them ready to play and represent the USA well- the exception is this time he has offensive talent to play more the way he would like.

Pretty nervous about this match. I don't know enough about Ecuador to say we are the favorite despite beating possibly the best team in the competition on paper.

I am just glad it isn't Colombia, they have our number both on the Senior and youth national team sides.

Ecuador won the CONMEBOL U20 Championship, only losing to twice to Uruguay through the process. They're clearly a really good side, and are probably riding high after finally breaking through against Uruguay last round. People should be nervous.

Durkin is all over the place defensively. Mendez and Durkin aren't athletic enough against this Ecuador team. Servania should have started. That's on Tab again.

Yeah, has constantly been there to save Keita's ass. I like Keita's aggressiveness though. He just has to realize there is a time and place for everything.

Even if this team loses this game, I'm thoroughly impressed with these kids. The skill and technical talent at nearly every position is light years better than any former u-20 editions. I agree with whoever said this u-20 team could beat the senior men. especially the men team we saw play jamiaca the other night.

If we are a little bit sharper in the final third then there is no reason we can't win this match.

Yeah, so far Mendez doesn't have it this game.

Mendez needs to be replaced. He isn't influential at all. Having decent free kicks isn't good enough.

Ecuador is bunkering and countering. Time for Ledezma to come in.

Ecuador are whipping our ass on the counter right now. We have to be more clinical on the ball.

Love what Llanez is doing but he has to have a plan for the final product.

Ramos took way to long to take Mendez off.
