1-1 at half. Us dominating the game so far. Hope we find a couple more goals 2nd half.

Yeah gave up a counter attacking goal on a long ball

Dest got bodied in the air and it was a nice finish

Us fought back with an excellent team goal one touch two touch Weah with a great cross to Servania who was in the box

A good half of attacking soccer

Tough loss. Second half was cagey as hell. Ukraine really beared down defensively after their goal a simple header in the box

Look I'm sure Weah and Mendez can show better than they did this game no matter Mendez's nice shots, but I think I'd rather have Llanez and Ledezma in there. In the middle can be either Soto or Rennicks. Very dissapointed in Weah at both striker and winger.

Dest needs to stop constantly going up every chance he gets. He is predictable and putting too much a strain on the defense. He needs to pick his chances going forward. He is not good enough at recovery defense to do that...

De La Fuente has some serious skill. Just needed to connect better with the runners (especially the striker).

Plenty of creativity, but just missing the final connection.

Llanez-Rennicks/Soto--Konrad
-----Pomykal--Ledezma
---------Durkin/Cerrillo
Gloster--Keita-Richards--Dest

Rennicks or Soto is a matter of who makes the better runs and puts himself in the best spots because that was such a big problem for this team.

Durkin was very error prone and wasn't quite fast enough. I don't know much about Cerrillo though, but I see people talk about possibly swapping the two.

Physicality matter at this age group. Not worried .i knee this was going to be a tough group. They can still make the knock out rounds. Have to be better against Senegal.

really tough game and basically exactly the game plan for Ukraine... unfortunately countering works quite well against a team if you allow them a ton of possession and they don't know how to create any chances...

I do blame Tab a lot for this, really hated the lineup with no CF and four central midfielders scrambled together to force the 433 concept... I previously had thought Weah could play striker but he looked totally lost out there, sadly he didn't get much better when moved wide in the second half, I put a lot of this loss on his shoulders... imagine if Sargent was there... doubt we lose this game.

Pomykal was quite impressive as was Richards despite conceding the corner kick goal.

Mendez has a lot of specialness to his game but he also is quite bad defensively and gambles constantly cause he knows he has little to no chance of winning a tackle, I'm curious to see how that develops in his game.

Very encouraging 1st half. The team goal was well played. These kids can keep possession and do not play kickball. Even though they faded a bit in the 2nd half I thought they deserved the win. Kind of a foolish formation from Tab-but overall I think you could see some of these kids moving up to the full nats.

Dest gives away sooooooo many balls. Has looked bad. Now Gloster, booooy he looks really great! Weah reminds me of Zardes at times. His one touch is really off but has the speed to make up for it. If there's one player that I would like to go big from this squad, it's Pomykal.
