Turned 18 yesterday and immediately signed by Wolfsburg. Good luck to him breaking through in the Bundesliga, I like what I have seen in his performances to date.

Would love to see him break through. Is Wolfsburg the new Schalke? Llanez, Brooks, Edwards....

Dude got a new 4 year contract with Wolfsburg and gets a full year in the Dutch league where he can learn and get better and showcase himself. He's down the road from his buddies Mendez and Ledezma. It was reported Heerenveen get 10% if he is sold following the year, so they have incentive to play him.

Can he outdo Michael Bradley's goals at Heerenveen? He set a standard at that club for an attacking midfielder from America let's see if Uly can one up that...

I've high hopes for Uli this season. The Dutch league is a good place for him to refine his game while taking a step up in competition from last season. A strong showing and he'll either have suiters from other clubs/leagues or Wolfsburg will start integrating him into their team 1st team plans. A strong showing will also help him leap into strong contention for the Sr. USMNT A-Team 23 as a back-up for Pulisic on the wing.

Jesse Marsch has claimed a personal accolade as he's been named Coach of the Year in Austria.
