Cowell has ridiculous speed, he's physically mature for his age...you would think he was 18-19 years old. Quakes actually have some good homegrowns coming up the ranks.

The two young strikers I am really excited about are Cowell and RicardoPepi. 15 and 16 respectively.

Danny Leyva, 15, signs HG deal with the sounders. People are talking this kid up.
Just like to shout out Colorado's finest, Cole Bassett. He's been excellent at picking his spots offensively and reading the game. Nice left foot. Mentally aggressive, let's see if his physical development allows him to be more forceful all over the pitch. But he gets in the action.

Holmes and Adams both out of the lineup today, did they pick up injuries?

Yedlin not in the starting XI, he had a howler of a game last time and cost his team the game. Not sure if this is just one game or a rest of the season thing.

Adams has an injury
Holmes has a slight quad problem plus fatigue so Lampard didn't include him

With how well Pomykal is playing and seems to be bossing the midfield.... would you rather see him play for the USMNT in the Gold Cup or stay with the U-20's for the WC? Who else would love to see a midfield trio of
Pomykal--McKennie
---Adams---

I don't think you'd get many complaints from Fans with that trio, but I don't think we'll see it until 2020. Pomykal will be with the U-20's this summer, and will likely be part of the U-23 qualification tournament in the fall (If he keeps performing). He and Mihailović will battle it out for the starting 10 spot with the U-23's.
Berhalter isn't going to insert any more young talent until after the Gold cup. He's going to continue with his continuity plan...Using retreads like Ream, Omar, & Bradley while the younger guys prove themselves (to GB's satisfaction) with the youth teams. It won't matter that some of them (CCV, Robinson, Weah, Holmes, Pomykal, etc....) have shown more this calendar year than their elder statesmen have. GB isn't going to trust them with in competitive matches.

So speaking of youth. GA cup now features U15 teams of MLS vs Liga MX
Our youth teams kicked their asses in a huge way. Our youth teams are beating Mexico on all levels consistently. I hope Mexico are enjoying their last hurrah as kings of Confacaf because they have some dark years ahead of them.

wow that didn't translate well. Here is the link to the page.
So I guess we lost the Final to Chivas on PK's after a 1-2 draw. Not sure how Chivas got to the final after it was tied with the last place MLS team. Should have been 1-4 mls teams and 5-8 Liga MX teams. But I guess the whole idea was for MLS to play Mexican sides so whatever.

Not the proper forum to post but in my Sunday league, there are a few foreigners. Mind you I live in a border town, southern part of Texas. Nothing but mexicans, some hondurans and other centrao americans. Just a handful. So today we had a French and dude from Morocco. Young guys with scholarships playing in our team. We have a Jamaican who was called into his U20 national team. Rodave Murray. They get 30$ a game and some go to Mexico to play Sunday league and get 50$ a game. Their team is probably financed by the drug cartel. So they're protected. Whatever, today I was speaking to the french and asked him who his favorite player was. He said Pirlo. He also said he watches the MLS. Knew who Landon Donovan was and Carlos Vela. I was surprised because i would never expect a 20 year old or younger European soccer fan would watch MLS.

I've seen a handful of MLS jerseys here in Spain even. A couple LAG jerseys to be exact.
