Should U.S. Soccer bring back the U.S. Cup?
Absolutely. It would be far more competitive than the CONCACAF Nations League.
No. The international calendar is already congested.
Not sure.

Nah, Kraft doesn't give a shit about soccer. Mike Burns still has a job and he's done way more harm over the years than Friedel has in his 15 months as coach (plus the two of them are buddy-buddy). We're doomed to Chivas level sucking this year (the sky is most certainly falling in New England) and the foreseeable future.

Yeah, too bad, they lost focus for 5 min and gave up 2 goals. Really fun game to watch.

Almeyda's old school marking system is finally coming together. Really bizarre to watch a CB man marking an opposing player well past his own centermids...and everyone sorting things out on the enable a deeper defender to be free to sweep. Sometimes to comical levels of rotation. Practically anybody in midfield or the back line could find themselves in a last man sweeper role. The scary thing is the freakish level of communication required...and with that there will always be a certain amount of time lag that can be exploited by teams with good off the ball movement and quick passing. Also requires a crazy level of fitness and stamina to play for 90+ min. Seattle had the Quakes on their heels for the first 20 min of the game with 1-2 touch passing....and also at the end when Quake players ran out of gas...couldn't close the space.

Great end to end game though...

Quakes are definitely on the upswing...
