Las is the prototype keeper and to have him pushed by Odunze only makes him stronger. One of the best players to ever come from Chicago and that's a list that includes Snow, McBride, Bradley, Guzan, etc. He's a better player than Guzan was at his age by a country mile, and as he pushes into his pro career it's a good time to acknowledge the disservice the Fire did him, as they have done so many young players over the years.

We all love Gio Reyna and what he can be, but in the here and now he dominates his age group.

I live in Colorado now and Sebastian Anderson and his rise to the first team and aggressive play should be an asset to an already established and talent rich group.

Ocampo-Chavez is probably my favorite player on this team and for me his should start. He's always involved in the play, and has smarts (!) on the field. Big ups to the sounders youth development program. Danny Leyva is young and may make mistakes but the kid can ball too.

Yikes. This team isn't very good. To slow everywhere. Not dynamic enough at all. What exactly is this team doing? It's like the US program hasn't caught on to the new trends going on all over the world in modern soccer. We want to play this slow Ricky tacky possession soccer. This is not what's going on these days. High press and quick passing in transition is the new way. With guys who can dribble and make dynamic runs. Why is Carrera not starting at CB. And why is Hernandez-Foster not being used in his better position at LB?

I know it's a youth, but None of those players looked like they were capable of doing anything. And that goes for Reyna too.

Senegal guys were like giants, just kept pushing our guys off the ball. Our guys looked gassed after first half too, Maybe it's jet lag, they looked a whole lot better the last time I watched them play.

The defending was atrocious.... Some of those goals we conceded would be cut out before they became dangerous by any decent team in the world. The wingers are not athletic or skilled and we were overrun in the middle of the park. I really don't think we have any chance of moving on after this result....

I thought Foster had some good footwork, I didn't think Gray played bad (minus the play on the red) not sure he will develop and be a senior player anytime soon but he didn't play bad in this game.

Busio-was our best player-looked lively and not out of place-

Reyna-looks like he will be a better player with the full nats thats with guys his age. He looked slow but hard to tell his true speed bc the senegal guys were all fast
but he showed good tech skills

hopefully they bounce back -

I was probably a bit hyperbolic but man I was a bit dissappointed by the teams effort and play.

Yeah, I stay off social media...only hardcore fans would understand the back story of the joke...and understand it is about age deception and nothing else.
