There are still many pundits that believe MLS should start playing in Copa Libertadores. I for one think the travel is just to great for that to really come to fruition. But what if they did make a Club Copa America? Meaning the top 4 from Concacaf and the top 4 teams from Copa Libertadores played in a separate tournament? Could there feasibly be a way to do such a tournament? Or of MLS did enter Copa Libertadores would you just split up a North Libertadores group and a South Libertadores group. With the final in a neutral venue? What do you guys think?

I think this is a great idea, kind of like the Champions league for North/South America. I also think we should have a Europa league type venue for the 5th place teams, with the winner(s) gaining a spot in the "Champions League".

About the North and South Libertadores, I think that they should be kept as one since MLS has multiple conferences as well. Splitting them up would be unnecessary.

The only reason to split it up is to ease travel for all teams involved if MLS were to eventually play in the Libertadores. It would only be for the group stage.
