(Not that that's a really profound statement, but it does speak to our lack of quality depth)

In the line of reasoning that is possession/playmaking depth, I think Mihailovic should be in this team if only for that reason.

Yeah Ream isn't the answer for that LB spot.

I think the headlines should read. New coach same US style against quality opposition. Didn't learn anything new.

I will give Berhalter credit for making changes that allowed the US to have a bit more possession in the final 20 minutes.

We really need to find better solutions if Mckennie, Pulisic do get injured again in the future. I think this game would have shown how good Tyler Adams is if he was playing.

Disappointed Gregg didn't use his system again with Lima. Bradley just doesn't overall have it compared to Trapp in my opinion. If anybody can play anywhere and we don't have a rigid system I think we all want to see Adams at that 6 with better attacking options ahead of him. I thought Roldan was functional and Zardes once again was lacking. Bring on the June friendlies and some new players... here's to hoping we see Johansson and Sargent play for Bremen, they be an upgrade over Baird and Zardes all day.

Neither is Yedlin at RB

Greg sacrificed Pulisic and Mckennie to protect Bradley.
Yedlin is fine.
I thought Miazga was solid.
Omar why God why
Arriola made a mess of countless counters with no one near him
Zardes punted another open net sitter in the stands and passed several balls to the wrong team
Baird was teed up perfectly by Bradley I must admit. Gatdamn Baird is trash
Roldan who cares. I can't remember what he did good or bad. He's just out there
Ream isn't the answer at LB but Greg's system hides him from defending in space
This system was built to protect and preserve whatever Bradley has left. He doesn't have to move or defend in space and has 4 options to pass to every time he touched the ball.

Overall we look organized and compact defensively. Greg built this system to protect players with physical and technical limitations from being exposed, but injured aguablu our 2 best players in the process. Great fucking job Greg
After Pulisic left, we had no attack. That Greg can't build tactics around, players have to have quality.
Greg is on a mission to prove he can make any player he likes no matter the quality look serviceable and the US soccer media will praise him after this performance

I thought Bradley played some good balls. He can't be the only guy at the 6 though. Is much better with a guy next to him. And that guy is Adams going FWD. I don't know what's happened to Yedlin, but he is not the same player he was from a few years ago.

I think Duncan from the Red Bull's could earn a look soon.

LB is a crap shoot. I would probably take Greg Garza right now. But you have to think Antonee Robinson will be on the Gold Cup team.?.?

Greg Berhalter is Bruce Arena 2.0. We will continue to see the same no possession/attacking style if we keep calling in majority of MLS players. I'm not mad at having MLS players on the National team but I think only 4 MLS players are worthy of a call up (Parks, Saief, Zelalem, long) and Effrain Alvarez sooner than later. All signs are pointing to Mexico captying him for the gold cup.

• How is player who is a sub for Nycfc on the National team ? (Lewis)
• I watch MLS pretty regularly and I have no idea who the f*** Baird or Lovitz is ?
• Roldan, Arriola, Lleget are not international quality
• Bradley had some good moments but why is he still here ?
• Yedlin is weak now, Time for Sergino Dest

I can go on and on and on... As I stated before we had no attacking after Pulisic went out because our MLS players have no technical skill to handle a high press.

It's blatantly clear there was an MLS agenda by hiring Berhalter and not even talking to Tata Martino. USSF/MLS knows Martino would've called in mostly Euro players. Dude left off MLS man crush Carlos Vela and only called in 1 MLS player (dos Santos). We won't be beating Mexico at all this cycle.

blaise, this is your daily reminder that Dest has no first team experience. Zelalem doesn't either unless you count cups, and is coming off a major injury. And Parks is a sub for NYCFC, so you kinda can't complain about Lewis being one, and then advocate for Parks. As you were.

@blaise213 Yedlin wasn't beaten once. He doesn't play in the MLS. Matter of fact he plays in the best league in the world. Dest hasn't played 1st team ball before.

I did forget about Zelalem playing for Rangers, my bad there. Still, he's a reclamation project at this point given his injury issues.

He also starts which is more than Dest can say.
