After watching Konrads ball movement on the last game, I would like to see Konrad at RW and Dest at RB... Those two could bring some crazy shit up the right side.

But if Reynolds steps up then, dest at RW

Greg pisses me off putting Dest at LW
Genuine question here, when has Dest been put at LW?

I'd also be fine with seeing someone like LDLT at LB. I still think a converted mid is where we are headed if it's not Dest.

Gotcha, I was like hold up a second there...

I'm cool with Dest playing LB. We have and continue to struggle with quality LBs. We have always had at least a couple RBs who were "good enough" but never really a LB.

As much as people hate it... watch out for Adams. I could totally see Adams playing RB and Dest playing LB if we get to the WC and need to get our best players out on the field.

Robinson has shown he is "good enough" to stick around at LB, but hes not good enough yet to where we should feel confident starting him in a WC game.

If Reynolds continues to develop and get more first team minutes I am all for Dest moving to LB

We have a lot of flexibility with our roster...RB could be a number of guys to get our best 11 on the field...could be Adams, might be Richards if he isn't at CB...could be Reynolds. Mckennie has played just about everywhere...but only if a couple of dudes really impress upfield...who knows...Aaronson looks like the real deal as a hardworking creator..there are so many options on the right side...we've never had this kind of depth and talent and so many players who can look good at multiple positions.

I don't have an issue with Dest at LB, but we need to figure a way to get him up field as a flank attacker opposite Pulisic on the other flank...that is the best we could do, imo.

For antonee has been good enough but as the competition gets tougher let's see how he plays. The nations league would be a good chance to view this as the likes of tecatito, Alvarado and others attack down his side for Mexico. I still want him to show better but the time is running out for him I think.

finally konrad is on his way out of Barca! I wish he would've signed with hertha for Jurgen while he was there it would've been a better year for Konrad. He's got a lot of work to do to be a better player but always is lurking as a wing option. More in the old school USA counter attack style unless he learns to be a wingback. He's your traditional wing player all the way to the sideline, the area now generally occupied by defensive backs like Dest, as I don't think Konrad is the type to make plays more centrally.

Tyler Boyd with 5 goals in his last 358 minutes. Took him a bit to settle in but rounding into form nicely.

Well another good week for our guys.

Weston scores

CP scores 2

Dike scores, again

Reynolds makes 1st start

Brooks starts

Aaronson starts looks like they will win the title

Tim W is 1st option off bench for a team who is in 1st

Gio gets another assists

Dest starts in Classico

Richards continues to be in good form

boyd is on a hot streak but with our options doesnt look like he will even make our team
Im sure Im missing some but point is the future is bright

Not sure re LDT or Boyd but of the two Boyd would be the better fit in my opinion-almost like how Grahm Zusi transitioned

But I dont understand everyone who discounts Robinson, I watch the PL he is a good player-seems like he got skinned against brazil and everyone wrote him off meanwhile Sam Vines lays a crapper in a pressure situation and we seem to want to pencil him in.

I understand to a point GB thinking, if adams, Reynolds, or cannon/yedlin can hold thier own why not move Dest over. But I think we get more out of him up the field on the right and that Robinson can more than hold his own

I dont like the idea of Dest on the left

Robinson is comfortable with the ball, has a really good cross, sure he has defensive lapses but who doesnt. He would be my starter.

A few things on Robinson is that he's robotic and completely uses his left foot for everything. While that's a positive for whipping in a cross he's basically the guy before the guy. Someone sometime soon will take this spot that can actually play soccer. Robinson is the leader at LB only because he has no competition. I'm starting him against Honduras in nations league and I prefer Dest to him on the left personally. But Yedlin has been iffy defensively historically and hasn't played much (he's now injured), Reynolds is way too green and Cannon is sort of struggling in Portugal. So- if any of those three guys gets his act together and is seen as better than Robinson that changes things... Dest is a better LB than Robinson so he will play. I like how everyone conveniently ignored Sergino cutting inside onto his right foot and scoring a banger for the USA. Not sure he cuts in and scores that on his left. I think he's a talent and can play wherever suits the team best and while he may be best on the right, for the team right now maybe it's best he play on the left. As for the converted mid being those other guys LDLT, boyd, Konrad - I still vote Pomykal. Nice left foot good vision strong tackler and aggressive mentality. Great technique. Leader on the field, can never have enough of that type player out there it's why nagelsmann shoehorns Adams out there at RWB sometimes for Leipzig.
