Gutman is reportedly going to sign with Celtic.

The Fire made a lowball offer as a development player that he turned down. He trialed at Rangers with Polster but is rumored to have decided to accept an off from Celtic instead.

Another left back option perhaps, though he is more of an attacking player.

If he's an attacking player, US Soccer won't be interested! 😒

As I posted somewhere else.... He won the ussda championship as a u17/18. Always was going to go and then stay at college due to the Fires multiple poor offers over several years. Gutman is intelligent, quick and can really pass the ball. Good move for him. Not having a USL team really has hurt the Fire as Gutman is the type of guy who could've and should've been a pro at 18.

USMNT is always in need of capable LB's. He does have good acceleration and speed, and likes to attack. I don't know about his defensive side of the game. More LB choices is a plus.

He's like a LB version of Brooks Lennon.

And now the saga takes another turn as Gutman is awol from Celtic have never actually signed... will he go to Rangers? Back to the Fire? Is there another suitor for this very talented player? The transfer window offers a little twist to this as it closes Thursday. Interesting.

Huh.... maybe he has more offers since winning the Herman award. Or maybe the Fire upped their offer.
