Nico Giacchini(Caen): Scored 7 goals in 6 appearances with Caen U19, 3 goals in 6 appearances with Caen reserve team, and is training regularly with the first team. Could see first team
Minutes in the second half of the season and leading to a first team regular at the start of next term. Hearing he might figure in Ramos u20 team for the u20 tournament. Can play as a #9 or as a wide forward.

Mukwelle Akale( Villarreal): Been one of Villarreal best reserve team players this term. Has been getting training time with the first team, and played in some recent friendlies for the first team notching a goal. The time for him to start featuring for Villarreal first team looks to be at hand in 2019. Would be a great sign for thebUSMNT. Can play any of the attacking front positions.

Kevin Lankford(FC Heidenheim): getting regular first team minutes and has been regularly scouted by Bundesliga teams. Very fast and technical attacking midfielder. Needs to add a final product to his game, but his stock is rising in Germany.

Ebobissie(Timbers): Starting to show his quality as a number 9 and looks to have a breakout campaign in 2019. Looking forward to watching his progression this upcoming MLS season.

Mihailovic(Fire): Immensely talented as an attacking #8. Has all the tools to have a breakout campaign in 2019 and be a very important piece for the US u23 team.

Richards(Bayern Munich): Looks likely Bayern will buy him from FC Dallas. Is a tremendous defender. Needs to work on his passing skills, but won't be surprised to see him get Bayern first team minutes in 2019.

McKenzie(Union): Won't be in MLS long. Already a starter for the Union and is poised to have a great U20 WC.

Pomykal(FC Dallas): With Luchi Gonzales taking over as the head coach of Dallas, look for Pomykal to be a regular first team Player in 2019. He really shined at the U20 Concacaf tournament.

Mendez(Freiburg): what can you say about this kid. One of the youngest U20 players and was the tournaments best player and looks to have all of the skills to be a great attacking #8. He is vital to the u20 success at the WC. Don't be surprised to see him become vital for Freiburg in 2019-2020 season.

Ledezma(PSV) Just signed a contract with PSV and would have been with the u20 team if he wasn't injured. All signs point to him being more of 10 playmaker type. PSV are very excited about him and USMNT fans should be too. Will be an important player for Ramos U20 team.

Bello( Atlanta) Bello looks to already be the starter going into next season. Atlanta traded Garza and DeBoer loves playing youth. Bello will be very important for the u17's, but don't be surprised if Ramos calls him up for the u20's.

Taitigue(Schalke): Looks to be over his baffling injury issues and is already back to his best with Schalkes reserve team. Won't be surprised to see him get meaningful first team minutes in 2019. Ramos still thinks he is one of the most talented u20 players.

Wright(Schalke): Hopefully will continue to see minutes. He has had decent outings with the first team. What is good is none of Schalkes forwards have been good this year, so I still think he will get chances in 2019.

Adams( Leipzig): Yes we all know about Adams, but since he has moved to Leipzig I am really interested to see how fast he starts getting minutes.

Sargent(Bremen): Really excited to see him in 2019. I think he is poised for more goals in the second half of the season with a potential of starting quite a few games!

Their are my players to keep an eye out for in 2019. Anyone else have players they are looking forward to keeping an eye on in 2019?

Honorable mention: Llanez(Galaxy): Hearing PSV is tracking Llanez as well as other big teams in Europe. Had a great u20 Concacaf tournament and was in the running for tournaments best player. Is a fearless attacker and his game really reminds me of Mo Salah. Really looking forward to seeing where he lands. Either stays in MLS with the Galaxy or moves to Europe.

Gotta say Taitague, Ledezma and Richards for overseas guys who haven't yet met an appearance.

Taitague because if his peers thinks he's awesome he must be.

Ledezma because being a 10 at a Dutch club is what USA needs. Hear he's quite slick on the ball.

And Richards because with all the attackers and midfielders coming up we need a rock in the back.

Depends what you consider young...Kyle Scott just turned 21. Playing well for Telstar and there is a small possibility if Fabregas leaves Chelsea in January and they are unable to buy a replacement he could be recalled from loan to back up Jorginho. Would be better for him to stay at Telstar and there is little chance Chelsea would let Cesc leave without lining up a replacement, but there is that possibility.

2 more honorable mention:

Dest: To be honest he should be in the list; I forgot to add him. He is immensely talented, and could be a first team regular for Ajax in the 2019/2020 season. His ceiling at RB is exceedingly high. He may be are true WC RB in the coming years. I have him as one of the players to watch at the U20 WC. He may be just be the most talented player for what looks like to be the most talent laden US u 20 team ever. He attacks with speed and thought and defends with speed and thought. He shut down Diego Lainez against Mexico. And that's Mexico's most talented U20 player. Not only that Dest said he would shut him down. Very excited about Dest.

Soto: Talented goal scorer. Looks to be in line for first team minutes in 2019-2020. Especially if Hannover get relegated. Really like his game. More of a in the box #9.

Decent player, but not that high about him. I hope he continues to progress,. But I don't think he is seriously in Chelsea's plans. Neither is Miazga.

No, neither are in Chelsea's long term plans. Just pointing out that if Fabregas goes and they do not buy a replacement their only option for a backup on the roster is an 18 year old.

Fair enough about ability...we all have our opinions. From what I have seen I believe he sees the field well and takes up good positions.

Staying on topic:

Konrad De La Fuente I think may have played with Barcelona's reserve squad already (not 100% sure)
