After watching Sarkodie starting to blossom the last few months; it has me thinking how long will it be before we see him get a full national team call-up? Do you all think he may be a legitimate call-up for the Gold Cup this summer? Too bad he wasn't in form with the U-23's back in March.
Sarkodie has the speed; he just needs to read the game better, but I have him surpassing Beitashour.

I am thinking it is still too early for Sarkodie considering Beitashour and Lichaj haven't got many looks(Beitashour was called in for the Mex game) and I am sure he is behind them.

I think with a lot of these young/fringe players it will be very interesting to see who gets called into this summer's Gold Cup, and who performs well enough in the GC to merit a call-up for some Qualifying matches.
I agree with rambo though, Sarkodie isn't likely to get a call up at least until we've seen more of Beitashour and Lichaj.

This summers gold cup will be pretty interesting and fun to watch. I am sure a few of the players will go on to have a nice National team career

I was one of the biggest haters on Sarkodie, and thought PHI's RB Williams should have been called and started over him in the Olympic Qualifying, but he really has come a long way and has played great so far in these playoffs.
I don't think he's quite ready to make that jump up, but he's certainly an interesting super athletic option but he still needs quite a bit of seasoning as he's still pretty raw.
I definitely agree about the Gold Cup, very interested to see what that squad looks like.
