Why Lletget slowed that play, I will never understand.
Because he plays in MLS

Gotta love Sarachan telling guys to stay back on a last second corner kick.

Not that I like the US losing...but good. Fuck Sarachan for playing for a draw this entire game.

I have nothing against Sarachan as a person, but he is clueless. And the time has come
for these old coaches to go. The program needs to get younger as a whole. Thank
Just a coach who knows his fate not wanting to lose his last match.

Just saw the "highlights"
IMO Trapp is most culpable for losing his mark right before the goal. Just judging from a few seconds of clips, but my guess is if Trapp isn't starting he will struggle to catch up to the pace of the game. He isn't among our best and should not start over McKennie or Adams (or a few others), so I would hope he is only a last resort callup from here on out.
I feel sorry for Horvath as he finally has a good outing. If he can keep his confidence I don't see why he can't be #2 behind Steffen and supplant Guzan.
On the plus side, we hopefully should be heading in a direction soon with a new manager. Maybe a well defined style and players that can play it will follow?

Our marking is an issue. But it doesn't really matter when we control the ball for less 20% of the game. We need offense and possession. I would rather the score be 5-4 Italy.

So Julen lupitigui inquired about the US head coaching vacancy and USSF said no thanks. Uhm, what the hell!?!? That dude is a talented coach.

I wanted to see more of Gall and Lleget in this game..... I liked what Shaq Moore brought in the game. Horvath did well. I learnt nothing else.

The whole fucking thing was clown shoes. End of an Error with Sarachan, and he wants to get a goddamned draw just to pad his resume. Anyone that tells me it was no big deal that we had a caretaker for a year can eat a bag of salty dicks. We start real games with the Gold Cup soon enough, and qualifying isn't all that far away either, and we have no freaking idea what a reasonable starting XI looks like right now. And I don't mean what us internet yahoos think-I mean something that we could predict based on actual managerial choices.
Of course, the real problem is that the ONLY way keeping Sarachan around for so long makes sense is if the permanent manager is going to be (and it's been known it would be for some time) someone from within the current USSF ranks who is already familiar with the player pool (such as it is), and who likely not deviate all that far from who Sarachan has been calling in, which is goddamned terrifying.

I think the next friendly I. The US fans should boo. Not boo the players but make it known that the fans are tired of the lack of competence within USSF. But let's see what happens. I expect a manager be named in the next few weeks.
