Still haven't found players to replace Donovan or Dempsey. It's ok. We will see where this team is at when WC qualifying starts. I expect quite a bit will change in the next two years.

Sure the set up is stupid, but do you think we stop of these attacks with a better athlete at dm?

Do you think we would fare better with a better ball winner at dm?

A couple, sure. But this game isn't even close to being about Will Trapp being on the field.

I respectfully disagree. Against a team of this caliber, you especially need your best athletes and ball winners on the field. As a defensive midfielder, he's not stopping attacks

Newsflash MLS sucks and we're starting an mls left back that has been a shitshow at international level, an mls defensive mid that everybody but DS an mls fanboys call out every game, and a goalkeeper past his prime that couldn't cut it in Europe.

Regarding Sargeant, again his age has nothing to do with his quality. That's an American way of thinking that was part of why we didn't qualify.

And look at Captain Trapp being caught out of position and watching Lingard strike a Goalazzo.
You're a moron. I never said it had anything to do with Sargent's age. Put words in my mouth if you want, but it has to do with the fact that Sargent plays in the 4th/5th division of Germany.

The fact remains that up to this point, Sargent has only truly played against youth/reserve competition and is nothing more than a promising youth/reserve team player until he proves otherwise and gets first team minutes at Bremen. That's not good enough to play against Premier League starters. It just simply isn't.

It has nothing to do with "American" way of thinking about anything. Its being realistic and actually knowing what you're talking about.

Nobody disagrees about Villafana, but Guzan is still one of our best 2/3 keepers, and you're getting roasted on Trapp because you're continuing to single him out when he isn't the reason we are losing or playing poorly. Trapp had nothing to do with the Lingard goal.

You aren't approaching this with anything even remotely close to an objective mindset.

I'd bet right now that Trapp will consistently be rated among the top 3 field players this game.

Apparently against a team of this caliber, the only thing you need are youth/reserve team players.

Well, that was unfortunate. Even as bad as the first half was, not sure 3-0 is a fair scoreline based on the play in the 2nd.

I think we're seeing some of the effect on Pulisic's reduced playing time tonight. He normally gets that ball from Saief under control and on goal.
