This team hurts me in my plums. We need a fucking coach. I'd take Klinnsman back at this point.

Unfortunately, Trapp has been one of our better players tonight.

If Sarachan doesn't make second half substitutes after halftime he's an idiot

If we had a more athletic player in Trapp's position, they wouldn't have scored.
He's been pedestrian on the ball and has chased the game

lol simply not true. Trapps been fine. Yedlin and Villafana have been getting caught out. McKennie's been poor as well.

He's been about the only person that has picked out a dangerous pass tonight. That's just a fact.

Almost everyone has. We're bunkered in and it's like we're so surprised when we get the ball, we immediately have a bad touch.

Pulisic has flashed a few times. I'd 10x rather have Pulisic in the no. 10 instead of Green. Pulisic will at least chase the ball to get involved. Green just sits high regardless of what's happening behind and doesn't make himself available enough for the no 10 role. I don't see why Green keeps getting called in. That's the guy who is "pedestrian".

Villafana has no business on the team as well, but Trapp is the defensive midfielder. His job is you guessed it, to defend the midfield. Picking up lose balls, recovering on counters, pressing when we're defending our final 3rd. Shielding our backs, winning duals, forcing turnovers.

When he doesn't do those things, it makes the game nearly impossible for everyone else.

He's not capable of that at this level and he isn't in the class of Adams, Mckennie, I dare say it Morales, Canouse, Durkin at any of those things

But has broken up an attack, won a dual, stopped a counter, dispossessed someone 1v1. That's his job and he hasn't done any of that

Trapp has been fine in those aspects tonight. He's playing as a lone DM, which is stupid. None of Adams, McKinnie, etc. could play that role solo against England. It's a dumb set up. Worse part is that we still aren't getting anything going forward even without dual no. 6's.

We definitely need McKennie to drop back and give our backs someone to pass to. Slot in Pulisic to the 10 and put in Lleget

He's literally done all of that at least once tonight.
