What center back in pool is better than John Brooks lol?
We need to figure out a 23 before thinking about qualis.

Ridiculous comment. Name a Non-MLS 23 man squad of REALISTIC and deserving players right now...I'll wait.
Spot on. Realistic as in actually play senior team soccer, not accomplished nothing benchwarmers like Tillman, youth team players like De La Fuente, etc. We already called guys fitting those molds (Moore, CCV, Weah; Sargent, De La Torre, Klinsmann), we don't need more. The pool is very shallow for us in Europe, it just is.

Fake news! There's a bunch of youngins better than Trapp, Acosta, Delgado, Roldan. If you never try them you'll never know.

LOL, cleancutimage just had a stroke. I lied, two MLS dudes at keeper
Forwards: Sargent, Johansson, Novakovich, Weah
Midfield: De la Fuente, Tillman, Pulisic, Joel Sonora , McKennie, Duane Holmes, Parks, Sabbi, Saief
Defenders: Robinson, Brooks, CCV, Miazga, Richards, Chandler, Sergino Dest
Goal: Steffen, Guzan, Klinsman
Honerable mention: Sebastian Soto, Lankford, Jonathan Suarez

Shouldn't we wait for their clubs to try them first?

Full of injured players, benchwarmers and youth team guys. Based on actual form in Europe (Argentina's not Europe), really right now you can only say Pulisic, McKennie, Saief, maybe Sabbi and Holmes, then Robinson and Brooks. Failed.

You don't rate Adams or Cannon? 2 biggest teenage American mls prospects? You only have 1 defensive mid in the 23. You have dutch second division player over a premier league player at rb. You rate Richards over EPB who's a regular in Eredivisie? Is Chandler injured? How you look over Gall who's getting games in Europa?

Traffic cones in practice don't have ankles.

I'd take a traffic cone on the roster over Will Trapp

I expect you and bjelks to present Trapp with his commemorative jersey for his 100th cap when the time comes.

Belks - Brooks has all the talent in the world...plays great for his club. He's played some outstanding games for the nats and some truly atrocious games. With the nats it just depends on his mindset...how seriously he takes a particular game...how much he truly wants to play. We don't have anybody better than Brooks when he's fully engaged, for whatever reason, ongoing consistency with the nats is an issue imo. There are awesome defensive plays then some pretty shocking phase outs.
I still think Miazga will be the guy we can count on the most at CB at the next WC...hopefully beside a dialed in Brooks.
