With Nagbe and Steffan out injured now, they are bringing in Klinsmann. Could we also bring in Amon....I hope so.

Would like to see Scott or Hyndmann, but that is just me. Scott was in the team of the week for Div 1 last week or this week so seems to be in a a good vein of form.

+2 Throw in Sonora and Holmes and we got something.

Canouse, Durkin, or Morales for Trapp.

They called Klinsmann in? More youth/reserve team players, lovely. Oh for the day when a national team call-up is based on senior club performance and not hey this guy might be good someday.

Supposedly Guzan isn't arriving until Wednesday, with only Horvath they need a practice keeper for today. The match is Thursday so you would think Horvath will get that start and then Guzan against Italy. This makes me think we won't be seeing Adams or Long or Villafaña against England either but I guess you never know. It was weird to see MLS playoff guys on the roster at all. As far as Klinsmann goes I guess Quentin Westberg was available too??

Westberg or Kronholm could have easily been called if we needed another keeper and didn't want to fly someone over. We need an actual manager asap.

And Sargent is dealing with an ankle sprain. So essentially we have one striker on this roster. Awesome. Even though it's my personal belief Weah is a striker not a winger.

I agree Weah is a striker not a winger. He does his best work in front of goal supporting a true 9.

I would like to see a Weah and Sargent pairing at some point.

It's not weird to see MLS players on the roster when there's behind closed doors agreement to feature MLS players on the national team to promote the league. This same agenda is why we didn't qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

There should've been 0 MLS players on this roster!!!

Really tough to roll into these two away friendlies against high level comp with this roster. A lot of guys being mentioned will really struggle connecting passes under pressure against this comp. I guess it will be good to expose them to it, but a lot of times it will be like taking candy from a baby.

If we have any formation with Trapp as a sole 6 we'll get broken down straight up the gut. He'll need a ton of help from McKennie.

I'll be keeping a close eye on Brooks and Yedlin. I want to see consistency and awareness for 90 minutes and not the mental tune outs we've seen recently. My gut feeling is neither of them will be starters at the next WC.

Ridiculous comment. Name a Non-MLS 23 man squad of REALISTIC and deserving players right now...I'll wait.
