Should be a fun game to watch. Look for England to key in on Pulisic which he has the ability to make them pay with slick passing.

Perfect game for Adams( unless Leipzig comes calling) and others. Im excited. We havent played England in 8 years it should be a fun match.

I know Bristol City came sniffing around at Steffen but a good performance could really skyrocket him to even the Premier League. The January transfer market is around the corner.

Totally agree on Adams. I think he will go to Leipzig but he certainly has the platform to get noticed in this match.

I also think this match may help Weah if he is looking for a loan, especially since they will key on Pulisic.

I'm fairly pessimistic we'll see good stuff from us against England.

I think Sarachan will trot out his most defensive side with probably just one forward. I agree with 2tone, all England will need to do is be aware of Pulisic and play him tight with second defender help. That's our problem, we haven't gotten to the point where we have 3-4 Pulisic caliber attackers...too easy to focus on our lone quality creator.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sarachan play Acosta and Adams as flank mids in 5 man midfield. Mckennie and (ugh) Trapp protecting the back line with Puli as the link under Wood.

The game will be a big deal for Rooney's final appearance, They'll be sky high.

Maybe at some point we'll get to see Puli under Sargent with De la Torre supporting as a tucked in flank mid.

I think Mckennie can be that second creator after Pulisic. He was played as a second striker in the past few games.

Also want to see a good performance from Yedlin. Got a clean sheet on Saturday. A good day over the weekend should have him focused.

I think with Mckennie and Adams as dual 6s we have a chance to win duals in the midfield against anyone in the world.
This is why we need Pulisic on the wing and a natural playmaker at 10.
Throw Gall or Amon on the left and you have a very dynamic midfield

I think for the USA it's a waste right now for Pulisic to be out wide. We don't have better options in the middle than him and that's where he's most dangerous for this team.

Respectfully, I think it's easier to key in on him in the middle. I'd like to trot out every 10 prospect that can dribble, pick a through pass and hit an accurate long shot before we come to that conclusion. For this game, I'd be interested in seeing Weah or Green there.

In the future, I'd like to see Holmes if he progresses, Hyndman, Scott, and Sonora

Bc we are too afraid to try anyone else. Even in friendlies. Pulisic naturally is a winger. He like the open space to run into and popping in for the occasional poached goal. We need to start taking chances on other players that can play that role. We all know who those guys are. I love Luca coming in but please give him a proper shot in his position.. I hope to see him play the 10 with weah and pulisic on his left and right. My hope:

----Sargent (Wood)
--Weah - de la Torre - pulisic
--Mckinnie - Adams
Robinson - Brooks - Miazga - Cannon
----steffen

I'm not expecting a win or a good team performance. #notmycoach but I want some effort and individual performance. I'd tell them just go have fun and show em what you can do.

Or we can take our chances on Konrad De la Fuente or Sebastian Soto at winger. Also my boy Sergino Dest (Breaking ankles) is moving up.

As I've said, the root of the problem is the MLS agenda.

Pulisic hasn't played for USA in almost a year- he hasn't played the 10 for a long time. Sarachan has played an 8 there or J Green. Pulisic is dynamic compared to the other options...

Also the Italian team is stacked... Barella, Jorginho, Veratti, Insigne. Now that's a party! They are even bringing the Lasagna!

You and I are in agreement that he is our most dynamic player in that spot, but I would qualify it by saying from the players on the roster, which is exactly why we need to try other players in there. Our current pool is still shallow in that spot with other players still waiting for a shot. (mind you, i'll concede they are all young and all seeking minutes) Pulisic himself hasn't played in that spot in over a year. Id rather his return be in a spot he feels comfy with than do a job. IMO, to get the best out of him has to be on the wing. otherwise we will have a good CAM rather than a great winger.

This is still a friendly. We need to keep trying to put our best players in positions to succeed.

I respectfully disagree (not that Pulisic isn't comfortable on the wing-he is).

I just think with his ability to go left or right (dribbling, shooting or to pass)- it limits Pulisic's options to play him wide. I agree he is our best player at multiple positions and so it's up to the coach (whenever we get one) to find a system where the other players can be dangerous and/or have a dangerous idea with the ball. Having Pulisic be our only guy he will be keyed in on the wing or the middle. It's up to the other players to use the space created by the over concentration on Pulisic. But yea, let him choose left right or center from a free role during play, let him find those pockets of space.

With Nagbe and Steffan out injured now, they are bringing in Klinsmann. Could we also bring in Amon....I hope so.
