Keep on telling people Weah isn't that type of player.

Such a joke... Colombian when they want to score they score, Bicycle kick or insert a spectacular goal here.... They can easily lob a ball or make 1/2 touches and they're through. We need to pull teeth and can't even string a pass at times.

Very disappointing we started to make some headway with the two goals and then we have some very bad lapses and they score two good goals. Glad I came, this is the last game for awhile.

I will say this:

1) Commentators obsessing over Robinson's positioning is annoying as hell. No it wasn't perfect, but he was dealing with world class players who were targeting his side of the field.
2) If you're so concerned with Robinson's positioning, then by all means just bring in a Lichaj into the LB position and move Robinson to a Left Winger position permenantly for the USMNT. God knows we don't have functional wingers, and Robinson always impresses me with his service and his moves in the offensive side of game. I am a supporter of Robinson to LW.
3) Sargent's turn on that Colombian defender was fantastic.
4) Saeif is mediocre. Green is mediocre.
5) Weah had one nice pass in his whole stint playing as a "midfielder" this game. It was a crucial assist, but I maintain he should only play as Striker for us.
6) Picault was hard to judge, but nothing special.
7) Bradley (and Acosta tbh) were mediocre as hell. Def not high on depth chart right now.

Bring in Lleget, Rowe, and other wide or creative midfielders. I don't see how it would have hurt to give Amon a run out (I recall talk of Amon being a defensive liability).

My two takeaways of the night are:

1) That James goal was beautiful, I will remember it for a very long time.

2) Acosta's run and finish were great. A well deserved highlight reel goal.

I will soon forget the rest of this game.

Hey at least we scored two very good goals. A lot work ahead for the team. Some key pieces missing so I'm not that disappointed in the result. Adams and McKennie are clearly the two CM's moving forward.

To be honest I have no concern about any result this team gets, until, a head coach is hired. After that I expect a clear direction for the team.

Colombia has had our number for years, so that is nothing new. Also, this was a very good Colombian team full of first team regulars and fairly fresh off a pretty good World Cup for them.

That said, we still do not know what our best team is Starting XI or Final 23. We can all speculate but until we play meaningful games and a full-time manager we do not know what to expect from this team. I am not taking too much from these friendlies especially since Sarachan is still the interim. Yes, we can rate individual performances but how do we know we have the right players playing in the right position in the right formation until we get a full-time manager with concrete ideas and a philosophy?

I will tell you this, I hope the new manager whomever it may be will still integrate the German-Americans into the team. No way Morales shouldn't have been called in.

As much shit as I've talked about Acosta, i thought he truly belonged, but he needs to get to Europe asap.

There is no reason morales and Gall shouldn't be in the team and Yedlin and Robinson Should not have secure spots.

I'd also love to see Sonora

We got smoked because of the MLS agenda, same reason we didn't qualify for the World Cup.

Granted I missed the first half but.....
You can't have two MLS guys running the midfield against an attacking Colombian team. Washed up Bradley is past his prime. He only had 2 good passes in the second half and Acosta who just got traded to another MLS team with no offers in Europe can't hang either. Props to his goal but he didn't do shit after that. If you have an MLS midfield, we're going to suck!

• For the life of me why does Bobby Wood stay in so long, dude goes ghost for long spells
•Weah has become the new Zardes by constantly being played out of position, starting to feel bad for the kid.
• The MLS subs of Delgado, sweat, Picault just added more MLS style into the game (no attacking)
•Green isn't a starter
•Getting close to wanting a Yedlin replacement
•Robinson was tired

Find a new f****** coach
