Actually, scratch that. Blaise has a point. Check this out:

Check out those skills! We should definitely put her in a USMNT jersey. And shes 15 years old. Thats the age range that blaise shoots for when making player selections...

So he did select Arriola. Also McKenzie. And Mihailovic. The elephant is also in the building.

Surely Kelyn Rowe is better than some of those called in. He is also one of the rare playmaking capable players.

Which elephant? Bradley or Zardes over Jozy?

Which elephant is that, Trapp or Bradley?

Jozy would have been selected if he wasn't recovering from injury.

All in all its a fine roster considering its January. I would have liked to see some Liga MX players (Corona and Alvarado). Good to see Ramirez get a shot. Also, the choices for defense are pretty interesting.

I like the roster. Love the Mihailovic addition. Love that he selected 5 CB's( an area of concern). Love he brought in McKenzie who is a rising star at CB. Rosenberry, Lima, Garza, and Lovitz are all good selections for fullback. Love that Ebobisse was called up. Really good January camp roster. Would have liked to have seen maybe Pomykal and Llanez called in, but both of those players will definitely gets looks during this cycle.

Yes Bradley and Trapp were called in. But I'm happy he also called up Canouse. And really there isn't many DM options from MLS right now.

Brooks Lennon is better than Arriola

This roster sucks, should've featured younger players: Gio Reyna, Mendez, llanez

OMg. Did you seriously just say Reyna?

Blaise you make laugh. But I agree. Rooks Lennon should have been called in.

But I am very excited about Mihailovic. Who I can see operating as an attacking CM in a three man midfield with McKennie and Adams behind.

I like the roster a lot...seems Berhalter has an enlightened take on talent and potential.

Love the Lima and Mihailovic call ups especially...Ramirez also...I like the Long call up too...sneaky solid CB. Looking forward to seeing McKenzie...

Lima is perfectly suited to play in Berhalter's system...comp will be brutal with Cannon at RB...both have speed...Lima better up field, but also 3 years older than Cannon.

I could essentially see Lima as a potential LB.

I see him all the time...probably saw him at LB for 3-4 games last season. He is pretty good on the left, solid defensively, but clearly not as comfortable getting up field...much greater impact on the right...a true rightside wingback. That said, between the two, I'd probably take him over Garza at LB.

Russel Canouse alone makes Camp Cupcake worthwhile. There is usually a breakout player who becomes a regular after Camp Cupcake and Canouse has to be the favorite to continue that trend.

Let them, you know, become senior professional soccer players first, that should be their focus.

I liked my original lineup prediction:

@knownothing- I'll give it a shot.

--- Ebobisse ---
- Baird - Mihailovic - Lennon
-- Canouse - Roldan --
Bello - Parker - Long - Cannon
---- Bono -----

Seeing the roster... Steffen for Bono, Arriola for Lennon and McKenzie for Parker. And I suppose Zardes up top.
