FYI Brooks didn't start last weekend because he was suspended not because he was left out.

Good to know. Still have a CB issue right now.

CB is not the issue. We at least have about 6-7 names to choose from at CB, it's just a matter of figuring out the pairing and having a goalkeeper who can organize them.

Our CB issue is that they're all mediocre players that people think either are or should be world class guys (like Miazga) when they're not.

The biggest issue facing our pool is LB. We legitimately have no names of people who can play there other than Robinson (who has looked mediocre at best), Garza (who is good enough but constantly injured), and Villafana (who is nothing more than a backup piece for that position). Fabian Johnsom could play it, but hes indicated that hes done with the national team.

LB is an issue. So is Striker, and Left winger. The USMNT has many issues right now. Hopefully camp cupcake resolves some issues. Is their one player you would right in indefinitely as a starter? Beyond Maybe Brooks at CB? Pulisic maybe.

Yedlin is the starting RB. Has been since before the last cycle, and will be this next cycle.

As I've stated before, it's about figuring out a formation and style of play first. From there we can identify personnel who fit.

We at least have serviceable depth at every position. ST has about 3-4 guys who are good enough to suffice for the time being. LM is thin, CAM is thin, but LB legitimately has nobody who has stood out at the moment outside of those three guys I mentioned.

As I've stated, we need to either convince Johnson to continue playing and play him there, or convince Toljan to play for us. Apparently Toljans eligibility for the USMNT is questionable at best and may not actually be able to play for us.

Like I've said before I'd like to see Cannon, Moore or Dest at lb.

Not sure where to put this, but from Sky Sports...

"Rangers have taken United States international Matthew Polster and fellow American Andrew Gutman on trial. The pair were training with the first team squad today at the clubs' training ground.

25-year-old Polster can play at right back or in midfield, and has one cap for the United States. He currently plays forChicago Fire.

Gutman is a 22-year-old left back, who plays for the Indiana Hoosiers college university team."

Hahahaha so cheap we are.

Gutman is pretty good. He was on the u17/18 team that won the ussda title a few years back. Gutman should've also been given a homegrown contract but the Fire are too cheap. Good luck to the Chicago kid. Gutman is very intelligent and would be a top 5 pick probably if he went through the draft.

The could be it. Or maybe I'm amazed that you think Dest clowning some schlubb on the street is meaningful in rating players.

Because nobody in MLS or Yedlin has that skill set. He does the same thing on the field
