Danny Williams and Alfredo Morales aren't being called in because US Soccer is racist. That's why.
Or, because William's has been out injured for the past year, is not healthy, is not in form, and is not fit. When he has been fit and playing, he has gotten called in.
And also, we have better CMs than Morales... who has historically underperformed for the USMNT.
CMs like Keaton Parks... remember, we don't have 23 players better than Parks since he is in Portugal playing for Benfica. Oh wait...

I like today's lineup changes. Arriola for Ebobisse and Trapp for Bradley. Let's see what they've got.
@lilshmike- I dispute that Long is not ahead of Miazga, CCV or anyone else to be Brooks' partner right now. I'm sure that's why he's the captain again.

That's fine... but remember, this is a strictly MLS roster. And this will also be his 4th cap.
Candidly, that's too small of a sample size to make the claim that hes a shoe in starter. Same as making a claim that Mihailovic or Lima would be starters after 1 game. We legitimately have not seen enough, and there have not even been enough games, to make that type of assessment yet. Not saying that it wont eventually happen, only that at this time they are not established #1s in any role. They are still fighting to be included next time a full pool is available for selection.
It's great to be excited about guys doing well and increased competition for spots, it will undoubtedly help the program, but let's not fall into the trap of recency bias.
Also, Trapp has been captain how many times? And is he a shoe in starter? Exactly. Being captain for camp cupcake isnt directly indicative of a player being an automatic starter once the full pool is available.

I said Long for sure and maybe the other guys yes and I'll stick by that after another assured performance from Long, who outperformed the Euro based guys the last few times everyone was in camp.

It's hypocritical to say that regulars in leagues better than MLS deserve to be called in, then say a regular in a league better than MLS doesn't deserve to be called in because you believe there are better MLS players in his instance. That's bullshit and that thinking is the reason we didn't qualify last cycle.

When did I ever make mention of anyone in MLS in that post other than Keaton Parks (where I was openly mocking you)?
In fact, I never even said who I thought was better, so you have no idea if they're in MLS or not.
Stop it with the nonsense.

You have mentioned that Bradley is in our best 11 who plays in MLS and Morales isn't good enough who plays in a better league, Bundesliga.
Stop it with the backtracking. Stand on your 2 feet like man and defend your fanboying.
And I'll double down and say Keaton Parks is better than everybody in the midfield today, Trapp, Roldan, Miha, Arriola, no matter what league he's in or how many games he's played.
Roldan is trash, Trapp is trash, Arriola is trash.
Miha has some potential.

Hahaha find where I said he was in the best 11. You can't, because I haven't said that. I legitimately said in this same thread that Bradley is a fringe player to make the 11 and is a consistent 23 selection based on the fact that Berhalter... the coach himself... has said that he is in the plan moving forward.
Quit putting words in people's mouths. I'm not back tracking. I don't have to because there are posts in this thread that anyone can go back and look at if they want to cross reference anything. The same posts where I have pretty much said that we need to take what we see from these games with a grain of salt because the squad is filled with what...? Right, players from MLS.
For the record, I wont be responding further to your ridiculous posts in this thread. Your nonsense, although hilarious to read, needs to stop.

By that argument, pretty much every nation's soccer system is a joke and doesn't know what they're doing. There have only been 8 nations that have won a World Cup. Everyone sucks!!
