When I say Moore has better technique than Moore, to be clear I'm talking about his trapping, dribbling, and passing under pressure as well as his ability to turn away from pressure and move forward.
We all know that Yedlin has more pro experience, but he's technique is not better than Moore's under pressure and it's not getting any better. He also is short of ideas in the attacking third.

We can agree to disagree on what our eyes tells us, but I certainly don't believe there's a correlation between experience and technical skill. For example, Mbappe has less professional experience than Yedlin and has never played in a WC but is significantly better technically.
Because experience has nothing to do with your ability to dribble, pass, trap, shoot. Their are certainly youth players that can do all those things better than pros. USA has some of the worst youth development in the world, so I don't know what to make of an elite travel team's manager.

I absolutely knew your response would be that US coaches suck, you seem to believe that the US sucks at football period. Anyway simply saying that I have some actual experience evaluating talent as there are try outs for my team. I understand that experience has nothing to do with technical ability, I never argued that point but thanks for you long post explaining it. I am saying that in the two friendly matches I observed Moore in I didn't see some giant gap in technical ability. I did see some mistakes with positioning etc which Yedlin has cleaned up in his three years in the premier league. You seem to want to make Moore our #1 after 2 friendly matches, I thinks it's too early he needs more experience. Yedlin should remain our #1 until someone is clearly better than him.

I've actually never said that Moore should play over Yedlin, but I will stand behind Moore having better technique, better first touch, and being more effective going forward. I do feel that Moore has more upside if he can find a club that will give his consistent time.
I'll also stand by even 4 yrs ago D Will looking better in a US shirt than Beckerman.

I'm surprised that nobody has even brought up the other right backs we have like Timmy Chandler and Desevio Payne. We know about Chandler, but considering how much (or little for that matter) Moore has played, I would have thought that someone would have thrown Payne into the conversation.

Thats excluding if we could possibly find a way to lure Toljan to the USMNT...

Payne wasn't playing much for Excelsior last year, got injured twice. Kind of a wait and see if he gets back to full fitness.

Chandler held off on playing with USMNT for as long as he could because at one point it looked like he may have actually had a shot for Germany. We were his second choice.

Not only that, but he has never played well for the USMNT. It has always seemed like he didn't care or take our opponents too seriously. As though he was too good for CONCACAF opponents.

Attitude aside though, he is still better than anyone else in our pool at RB (except for maybe Yedlin or Fabian Johnson if we played him there)...
