If you look at transfermarket, Jordan Morris is valued at 2.9 million and they have Konrad at 450000. So one Jordan Morris is worth six Konrad. Hopefully, Konrad passes him but let him have more of a handful of starts.

IMO Jordan was in college when he was Konrad's age so what was he worth then lol?

Now Jordan is in the prime of his career at 26 and worth almost 3 mil.

If they get promoted to Segunda, I'm sure he'll double in a span of few months.

The youth have promise, but give them time to develop. Konrad looks really good. I am excited to see him in the future along with Llanez.

Konrad and Morris both have a lot of similarities in their game.

Konrad is a wizard with his 1st touch and on the dribble like Dest and Pulisic, he's that good technically

He isn't there yet. Otherwise, he would be first team like Pulisic and Dest. Hopefully, he continues to progress.

I don't disagree his first touch and dribble are great. But if that's all it took Andrew Carleton would be awesome.

The ussf (Tab as coach but others too) called Konrad to the u20 World Cup up a cycle. If Johnny cardoso was spotted I find it hard to believe they aren't keeping tabs on Konrad. He's like the golden child in many ways for the USA. Florida has always produced players, just not sharpened up at a place like La Masia. Good luck to Konrad he will have a chance to be a big player for USA no doubt about it.

Konrad had the equalizing assist yesterday in the playoff semifinal. They are now in the playoff final and 1 game from promotion to Segunda A. Here's his assist.

Really well played and placed, also between 2 defenders. Thanks for posting this.

Really hope this kid continues his growth & development. Very few players graduate to Barca's 1st team, but they still find themselves being productive players for other clubs...even very good clubs.
The potential of having the following attacking options in the not too distant future is enticing to say the least:
Pulisic (Chelsea), Reyna (BvB), Weah (Lille), Ledezma (PSV), Mendez (Ajax), De La Fuente (Barca), Uli (Wolfsberg), Vassilev (Villa)...
Nothing is a given, but there are some very promising prospects in this group.

The pleasure is all mine. He's a real big talent and just bc he's not in Barca's 1st team, doesn't mean he's not good enough for USMNT

Im not on the Konrad hype train, however, he is looking better and better. but to say he isnt there yet bc he is not starting at Barca is a little out there. Could any US player in MLS right now even be invited to train at Barca-lets give this kid credit for being at one of the largest and most successful clubs in the world and climbing the ranks-no shame in playing on their b team.

I can agree he is developing but he would first need to be invited into a camp and see how he performs. Last year, he was not a stand out at the U-20 World Cup and he was at Barca. Now he has another year under his belt and got promoted and in a few games has done well. But that isn't enough to throw out a proven starter like Morris. I also think Uly is ahead of Konrad and if Weah comes back would be ahead of both.

Also, I am not entirely sure of Barca's long term plan for Konrad. Their finances got hit by Covid and not a buying team at the moment. But they are scouting other youngsters from other clubs. Is he truly in Barca's future plans or is he someone that is capable enough to challenge Barca's core prospects? McKenzie Gaines would be an example of this with Hannover. Give it another year for Konrad is my opinion. He could be Jonathan De Lo Santos or Ben Lederman. Time will tell. Hopefully, he goes further.

I still don't know what Morris has proven other than he can make an impact against below avg international competition and 3rd tier club competition.
Lederman never played for Barca B.
Gaines never played for Wolfsburg reserves.
Dos Santos first got called into Mexico while playing for Barca B

I'm pretty sure everyone has given you their reasons for Morris which you either don't like or don't agree to: makes the right runs, is faster to the ball than the defender, and then can shoot with either foot to score. Most have said he's not our ideal player and would like to see a healthy Weah play over him.

Lederman and Gaines are not good enough but what do they have to do with Konrad? If he ended up like Traore from wolves that would still be good enough. Dos Santos was a dual nat for Mexico who they felt they had to cap tie. But we aren't in that position.
