I do not know how many times you have been to England or where you are getting your information from but Newcastle & Liverpool definitely aren't rivals. Newcastle is in the Northeast and Liverpool the Northwest. Historically, they cannot even be compared. Only arrogant Newcastle fans who think they are a big club would consider Liverpool a rival but the Liverpool fans do not consider Newcastle a rival. Newcastles rivals are Sunderland and Middlesboro and Liverpools rivals are Everton, Man Utd and more recently Man City. But definitely not Newcastle.
