Shalke said today McKennie is having Muscular problems. I would suspect we will not see him.

I'm getting a little concerned again about who the coaching staff is going to call in at midfield for this Friendly. I'd hopped that we'd see the start of a true youth movement (McKennie, Adams, Parks, Scott, Pulisic) with a couple transition guys to help break them in (Williams & Lletget).
However with Williams & Stanko done for the year, Acosta, Lletget & McKennie still working back from injuries, Canouse & D. Jones not seeing many minutes w/ their clubs; I'm thinking we're a little thin at the CM spot. Thin enough that the coach could may call in guys like Bradley or Trapp (Neither of which I'm a fan of or excited about).
I'm have the same concern with the forward options & this coaching staff. I'm guessing that they'll avoid calling in young talent for the likes of SaPong, Jozy, Dwyer & Zardes.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have the feeling this is going to be a very disappointing roster.

I don't think you'll be wrong. Given how the election turned out and the fact that MLS has just started, I expect a roster of mostly MLS players with the likes of Sargent, Weah, and Scott called into the U-20's.

I dare say if you organized a scrimmage the U-20's would win.

Well Weah wasn't called into the u20 team. Sargent was. Which makes sense.

Off the thread topic, but I like the Rennicks call up for the U20s...good ball control and speed with the ball.

I didn't think about Tilman.......hmmm.....I dunno, that doesn't bode well. I don't think he will be getting a USMNT call up. So I wonder if he is either injured, is considering Germany, or his club didn't release him to the U-20 camp. I think the club maybe didn't release him.

Maybe Robinson does make his debut though. There are plenty of players available for a good game and one that looks toward the future. Steffen, Miazga, Adams, Saief, maybe McKennie just to name a few. Adams in particular is having a good start and showing why he is a player to look forward to- he's a leader and everyone knows it. This camp and game hopefully starts the clock on him getting an ownership role for the next cycle.

Apparently, Shaq Moore has been called up. And the squad is expected to be very very young. https://twitter.com/YAAWSR/status/97535429560...

Well perhaps these callups bode well for those playing in Europe. I dare say Parks will get a call as well

I really like this. My only qualm: How is Roldan, Trapp, and Delgado rated higher than Keaton Parks? MLS bias (unless there is an injury I am not aware of).

Not a single complaint with that roster. Maybe Parks, but other than that pretty solid with youth and vets.
