I see Morris will become the new Bradley. All American hope without the ability to match lol. But I think the program would be best served with him at home in Seattle with his dog.

I do think it's good to see Johannsson back and playing. He is better served as a fwd/ winger type hybrid a la Mueller.

Your ability to move the goalposts and misrepresent arguments is becoming legendary.

@cudevil tell me in what aspect of the game does Morris have more upside or ability than Siebactchu, Novakovich, Boyd, Green, Sargeant, Weah, Tillman. We've seen what Morris has and there's nothing to get excited about.
Other than him having the look and background of the agenda that mls/ USA federation wants to push, there's no substance there.
How are we ever going to improve the program if we don't stop giving call ups not based on quality?

Morris is injured again so I guess the point will be argued another time.

I'd personally like to see Wood up top, to be replaced later on by Josh Sargent. It's time we see the kid with the full national team, and bob wood needs to be re integrated into the team. With USA he will have the options and passers that his offensively challenged club team does not.

Brooks is still out injured. We have to find other CB's. I think we all know at this point Brooks is an injury prone player.

Yep, I think we're looking to Miazga to be the leader at CB...hopefully Glad continues his development. I wouldn't mind a Miazga/Glad combo or CCV.

Johansson is one of the most talented field players we've ever had but I just don't think he fits into our system. He's definitely a striker but if playing alone, he needs attacking football, slick passing, and a lot of balls played to his feet in order to thrive. We just don't have the technique/talent to play that kind of soccer yet, and while we got kind of close under Klinsmann, no way an MLS coach will get us playing like that. Otherwise, he needs to be playing alongside another striker (preferably more physical, traditional #9). And I don't think we should be playing a 4-4-2.

4-3-2-1

Johannsson
Pulisic-Mc Kinnie
Tillman - Williams - Saief
Robinson- Brooks-Miazga-Yedlin
Steffen

That's attacking soccer. Still wish we had Gonzalez in the midfield

Nothing wrong with a 4-4-2. Johannsson is talented but if we play a 4-3-3 he is better served out wide.

The final stretch of the English league season is upon us, with several Americans on the verge of relegation with their teams.
