Only omission I have an issue with is Keaton Parks. I also would have liked to have seen Green as well.

Pulisic apparently asked to be omitted to focus and be rested for Munich Dortmund after the break

Maybe Parks omitted to allow focus on getting more first team minutes at Benfica? Just spitballing here...

Shaq Moore also needs to get more first team minutes.... Plus getting a USMNT callup and a couple of minutes would have helped get Parks more exposure.

He really should be staying and playing first team so he can get minutes thru the summer. He needs to impress so he is on solid footing next year.

Aron Johannsson was originally called up. But apparently a leg injury is an ongoing issue with him right now. Probably why he isn't seeing many first team minutes with Werder the past few weeks.

I really like this. My only qualm: How is Roldan, Trapp, and Delgado rated higher than Keaton Parks? MLS bias (unless there is an injury I am not aware of).

I agree, and you can add Scott to that as well. If you put either of those players in MLS they play and more than likely outplay those selected in front of them.

Also Jordan Siabetchu.

Strange that Weah is listed in midfield but Rubin is listed at Striker. Rubin is the more versatile player who should be playing on the wing for us or as a CAM. Weah.....based on the U-17 WC, I don't see him as a winger (he's had too few PSG minutes to know).

Hard to make a lineup without the width being provided by fullback. Seems like a narrow team.

4-2-3-1

Wood
Saief - Rubin - Weah
Adams - McKennie
Robinson - CCV - Miazga - Yedlin
Steffen

Subs: Novakovich, Trapp, Roldan, EPB, Moore

It looks from that lieup that Lichaj is being brought in as a CB in that case we could be going three at the back:

Steffen/Hamid
Lichaj, CCV,Miazga
Yedlin Nagbe McKennie Robinson
Saif Wood Weah

would like to see how adams figures in-he will be with the nats for a while but we need to figure out at what position

I don't understand the facination with Roldan

Im ok with Trapp he is reliable no flare but reliable

Would like to see EPB get some mins

We already know what wood can bring

Nagbe-I was one who rated him high, he has the skill set to control and hold the ball but for some reason he was horrible on the international stage-maybe a bit harsh a better way to say it, he was not aggressive

Nagbe just has poor vision for the game. Doesn't see runners or the runs for himself. Great on the ball, I don't think he is international quality.

Roldan and these guys are young and will compete for spots with McKennie. The kid can't be given a free ride in practice, so get a Delgado and a Roldan out there for competition. I think Adams is better than the other MLSers so pair him with McKennie.

Kekutah Manneh added to roster. I think this is a good addition given the lack of wingers and the fact that he wasn't going to drop a player to bring in Keaton Parks. Manneh probably will never be a starter or tactically sound player, but he will always have value as a 60th minute sparkplug sub, and that is important.
