This team is lazy, unskilled, boring, and just plain bad. I was at the game and their performance was a middle finger to the entire soccer fan base of Cincinnati and the rest of the country. The only good thing about this game were the boos they got from US Soccer fans.

From these comments, seems going for a run was a great decision on my part. Sorry to those who watched and especially those who attended. This lost generation of the current mid 20 guys is maddening.

Wow such an underrated point. These are the guys that were apart of the generation that missed out on certain editions of the u20 world cups and the Olympics. Wow, so it is coming back to haunt us. Case & point to anyone that thinks qualifying for u20 WCs and the olympics isn't important to the National team. All those guys would be in their mid-late 20s and that is the age group that isn't providing much talent for us during this current era of national team.

terrible, horrible, disgusting...

I'd rather have a roster of young guys making these mistakes so we can at least say they are growing and learning but we're wasting experience of in their prime players who aren't good enough...

Trapp is terrible and I'm really concerned Berhalter doesn't see the need for Adams at that position. Lima at RB is a lot better than Trapp at CDM...

Roldan... what does he do to keep getting minutes?

I was ok with the Berhalter hire thinking he was at least tactical and would come in with a game plan after years of winging it with JK but now I'm very very concerned...

Or just not performing well at the u20 WCs. 2008-2014(not much talent came out those years) were really the lost years from our youth program. Funny, it coincided with arguably our best Senior era. 2009 Confederation Cup runner-up, 2010 WC group winners, 2014 getting out of the group of death at the WC.

If this team makes it to the final, it's because Pulisic, Adams, McKennie, Holmes and others don't listen to Berhalter. It will be in spite of Berhalter not because of him.

It is true that we didn't have nearly enough guys pan out from our U20 teams in those years, I don't wish to downplay that or remove blame from the players. I am focused on the federation and the coach because we've known for years that "lost generation" didn't produce much talent, so we needed the best possible manager to make the best of what we have now while building for the future. It's impossible to argue that Berhalter, with his weak coaching resume, was that guy.

Notable players from those U20 teams
2009- Diskerud, Shea, Villafana, Sean Johnson
2011 (failed to qualify)- Gyau, Lletget, Garza, Kitchen, Rowe
2013- Yedlin, Trapp, Acosta, Steffen

An abomination. Another coach who is out of his mind and won't shoulder any responsibility for his mistakes. Does Berhalter want to go down as another stubborn deluded Klinsmann type coach? YOU CANT USE CLUB TACTICS AND SYSTEMS OF PLAY IN INTERMITTENT NATIONAL TEAM GAMES. It is a fundamentally false belief. It can't be done (maybe Spain and Germany have used such things in early part of decade, but they have enormous depth and extreme talent, and their two main guys Xavi and Iniesta stayed remarkably injury free during their primes).

I liked Tyler Boyd. Why? Because he is a man. He doesn't have a low testosterone level, he doesn't slouch his neck, he doesn't have a goofy smile, he carries himself with an almost 90's USMNT poise. He plays well.

I still like Holmes.

My hatred for Roldan and Arriola are at sky high levels after this game and their ultra-relaxed way about them. No anger, no intensity, just soft.

I'd like to see eventually:

---Jozy
Boyd-McKennie-Holmes-Pulisic
------Adams
IDK--Miazga-Zimmerman--Lima

I swear to god if Trapp(Crapp) takes Adam's place and shits the bed at the 6 again....

And those are some weak f'n names. So you see why we are so bad. Berhalter has no choice but to go for broke and play 95s and later. Cause we don't have a safety net from the 1989-1994 born guys. The youth movement must start now more than ever. I would rather play with unproven prospects than the old guard and these more experienced MLS players.

That's how Brazil and Germany got back on track. Not that we are anywhere near Brazil and Germany on talent but they got rid of the old guard after disappointing results at the WC and just went full on youth movement.

Mexican MLSers usually have talent and are DPs usually.

Trap can't make a forward pass to save his damn life. I swear to god. If the kid had a gun to his head, with the closest defender 100 yrds away, he still couldn't make a 5 yrd forward pass. He can run and that is it!! Hell, sounds like venicebeachbull can run also. Maybe Berhalter should try him at CM.

Roldan. Dude disappears. Berhalter called him a #10 and a playmaker for this team. WHATT? How can you be the playmaker yet disappear for 90 mins. They should call him the MAGICAL DISAPPEARING ROLDAN.

Arriola, is a midget that HAS ZERO SKILL. All he does is put his head down and run in straight lines; with or without the ball it doesn't matter. Oh and the tap in he missed for a goal, he nearly launched out of the stadium, no f'n joke. HE SUCKS big time!!

And Zardes is such a mediocre footballer its like he's actually a long distance track or cross country runner who never really played the game. But within the last year or so, soccer coach Berhalter, has decided to recruit him and make it his sole mission to turn him into a soccer player. I'd put a million dollars on Usain Bolt being a better footballer than Gyasi Zardes.

Tim Ream? More like this team gets Reamed every time he suits up. Seriously mediocre player. Clearly isn't a leftback, and has proven time and time again he can't play centerback at this level w/o a major fuck up. SO WHY THE FUCK IS HE EVEN HERE?

Boyd looked half decent for his first capp, but my god if you are going to take the corner kicks for FUCK SAKE get it over the first defenders head and into the freaking box. I'm merely a former division 2 college player and I can do that almost every single time. YOUR A GODDAMN PROFESSIONAL!

Lastly. I have seen Weston McKennie dribble from box to box past the entire Bayern Munich squad. yet somehow, this group of players are so trash, they make Weston look like an average division 1 college player who is more concerned about signing up for next semesters classes and poking his girlfriend on summer break.
