Josh Sargent is sneakily having a good season. 5 goals and 2 assists in the Bundesliga, and 2 goals and 1 assist in the DFB Pokal. Bringing his total to 7 goals and 3 assists. With 2 more months to go he may reach a 10 goal Bundesliga season. Which would be a very good year for him. Considering a Werder side that doesn't really have great offensive weapons that surrounds Josh.

I think for the USA the way he can hold up the ball and move around and pass to teammates will be just as important as him scoring. @2tone- will our players provide enough passing to Josh to let him get opportunities or will it be more of the same?

From what I have seen recently, we seem to have a good compliment of players to work with Reyna and Pulisic depending on the opponent.

Dike appears to be the big physical, athletic striker in the mold of Altidore that can do a good job occupying defenders and finishing clear cut chances.

Hoppe seems to be adept at finding space in the box and on the field. Not quite sure how good he is at holding up play.

Sargent seems the most balanced of all the skills required, but he does not necessarily excel at any one of them.

It will be interesting to see where Soto is in a years time as far as playing time goes and his development.
