Looks like Bayern Munich are chasing u18 and Real Salt Lake Academy player Taylor Booth. RSL is trying to sign him, but it looks like he will sign with Bayern.

Never heard of this kid, so don't know anything about him. Considering our player pool we're still short a couple positions of need, so Please tell me this kid is a LB or a Striker.

Winger and perhaps other midfield positions. He played a little bit in the U-17 World Cup; he is only 16 years old unlike the other 17 year olds there. Serino Dest was also 16 years old.

I read on the MLS site he's played as a central mid.

I hadn't heard of him either.

The big take away for me is we're in great shape if we have such depth that we have guys almost nobody has heard of going straight to freaking Bayern.

Tidal wave of youth talent is coming....I'm giddy with the possibilities for 2022 and 2026. I still think we're heading for something special in 2026.

@chris_thebassplayer -
I'm happy to see interest by clubs in our young players, and I agree that the number of prospects emerging is promising. However, we still need these prospects to turn into true professionals and make the most of their opportunities.
Another significant hurdle we need to overcome is the quality of coaching for the USMNT. Without a quality manager to lead the team and put the players in a position to succeed we'll still be the outsiders looking in.

Against England, Goslin was out with a suspension. Booth was the surprise starter that day, not George Acosta, as hackworth went for all action in the midfield and not attack. Booth was all over the place and a bit naive, but he was willing to try things and be aggressive. Good luck to the kid.

The final stretch of the English league season is upon us, with several Americans on the verge of relegation with their teams.
