Apparently Roma has strong interest in him. Granted a rumor but would not be shocked to see him sold this winter to a big team.

Honestly would be shocked if he's sold this year. He's had 1 full season under his belt and 1 USMNT appearance. While both were good, it is a very small sample size. Nor am I convinced that MLS or his club would be eager to sell him so soon.
My best guess is that he'll spend another full season in MLS, pick up a good number of USMNT appearances than go on a winter loan/training stint next winter (2018), before anyone makes an offer large enough for MLS to sell him.

Meh tyler adams is definately not ready but hes the kind of guy that i wouldnt worry about. From everything reported this year on his rise, he seems like the kind of guy that will put his head down and work hard everyday to get better, competition doesnt intimidate him.
You can say that about alot of youngsters in this generation, starting and being leaded by Pulisic. So many teens in this generation who have already broken or are breaking into their respective teams first team. Just impressive maturity.

THe Jozy and Bradley Generation should be the last generation with inferiority complications. Always played with fear and no bite agaisnt top competition

Bradley and Jozy definitely played with no fear when they were younger. Come on man. They got complacent and the results showed. Bradley was fearless when he was in Europe.

MLSTransfers tweeted out that Adams could train with RB Leipzig instead of January camp which im not totally opposed to. Wish Leipzig would just outright buy him then send him back to Harrison for another year.

Adams can't get better playing in mls. Every minute playing outside of Europe is a waste for him

The elephant in the room that some of us are ignoring is that Bradley and jozy were never as good as Puli and Mckennie are right now on their best day

Jozy was never fearless and never ever near Pulisic and Mckennie level like bjelks stated.
Bradley was good when he was at roma. I remember Calcio A and Roma fans rated him well. Once Nainggolan transfered he took his big check and settled in Toronto.

Dempsey even at his age moved and pushed for Champions league unlike Bradley and Jozy. Guess they figured they wouldnt make it so why not take a fat check.

Bradley was also good at Heerenveen in his late teens, and BM in his early 20's. McKennie's career tracks pretty closely to Bradley's.

Mckennie is 18 playing for a top 3 team in Bundesliga lol.
Bradley was playing for a mid table Dutch team at 18.
At 21-24, Bradley played for a bottom table Bundesliga team. Not the same.

Just saw that NYRB are debating him going to camp cupcake or spend a month with RB Lepzig. I would assume if he goes to Germany he is not coming back.

If he goes to RB Lepzig for training it could really help him understand what's needed/expected of him to play in a major European club. But he'll have to apply what he learns there on his own, as MLS won't exactly help push him to fulfill the gaps in his game.
The January camp & friendly aren't the best, but it is a chance for him to gain exposure & experience at the international level. Some leagues require players to meet a certain # of international games in order to qualify for a Work Permit. The January camp helps meet those types of requirements.

Both options have their pros & cons....so whichever helps him get to the next level is what I hope for.

I would have to say that Mckennie reminds me of young Bradley. The one who didn't show his lack of touch because his first touch was always a forward one runnig into space. When Bradley became more of a static player and tried living out his life like his idol Albertini, his lack of a world class smooth touch was noticeable.

Rangy Bradley was good. Mckennie probably has more quality in abundance.

Reports out of Germany is that Leipzig is on the verge to sign Adams. He could move over this summer, or be loaned back for the rest of this MLS season. Good for him, if this is true. https://www.metro.us/sports/new-york/breaking...
