Announced he will start tomorrow. Know it is early but has he moved past Hovarth on depth chart?

Only if he becomes a consistent first team
Player. But I hav also always felt Klinsmann could be vying for the future #1 for the USMNT. Battling both Horvath and Steffen. Klinsmann is more comfortable with the ball at his feet than either those two are. Steffen is probably still the better athlete and pure shot stopper compared to both. Like I have said before I am not worri d about the USMNT future at GK. A lot of talent at home and abroad.

Agreed. I dont think he does unless he starts getting games.

But this is a great sign for the future. He has loads of potential.

Jurgen-haters will lose their fucking minds if Jonathan becomes the future #1 of the USMNT.

We have 3 or 4 guys close to the same level, so my choice would be who is playing the best at the time of selection.

Six months ago it would have been Horvath hands down but he now has a bit of a confidence problem and opened the door for the likes of Steffen and Hamid.

Nice little piece. I think Jonathan and Zack Steffen will vie for top US keeper soon.

I havent seen him play since the U20s so naturally he might have improved at Hertha but I was not convinced by him with the U20s.

Keep up with the latest moves by Americans around the world during the January transfer window.
