18 year old winger Jonathan Amon got first start for Nordsjælland in Danish Superliga and scored nice goal. He is fast and has low center of gravity (apparently according to others).
from FCNordsjaelland's manager: "He's insanely fast. We are talking about extreme international speed, and then he can change direction. There are so very few players that make me this excited, but he does. He is insanely [good]. Of course, 'Johnny' still lacks a lot, but I see super potential, which I'm looking forward to working on, said Hjulmand. after the 3-1 victory over a FC Copenhagen team in crisis."

So was Joe Gyau. And Josh Gatt. And Julian Green. And Freddy Adu. "Get him into the USMNT ASAP"?? This guy literally just came on to our radar. We have to stop sensationalizing every flavor of the week.

One of the positions of need for the USMNT is at Wide Midfield, especially if we're going to play some variation of the 4-4-2. At the moment I see our Wide Midfield options as follows:
LM: Saief, Green, Manneh, Zardes
RM: Pulisic, Gooch, Arriola, Zardes
Only Pulisic has truly solidified a place in the USMNT Squad, or solidified a position within their clubs starting XI, so anyone who has this kids kind of speed/mobility could be a real benefit.

Given the current state of the program, there's zero reason not to bring him in.

Nah. Get him into the USMNT now!
Gyau unfortunately was injured at a critical moment of his career. Maybe he makes it back. Same as Gatt.
Both Green and Adu were overhyped.
Amon has the speed and skill to be something special. And quite frankly the USMNT has zero wing options going forward. Amon should be in good standing to be selected for the March friendly date.

With all these players emerging, the frustrating part was hiring Bruce Arena and dumb fucking roster selections. Every post I put up for my roster choices only featured about 3-4 players from Arena's 23 man roster. Dude had no clue and thought it was 2008.
Regarding the World Cup, I'm not mad because this shake up needed to happen. Like I said, Arena's World cup roster would've lost the group stage because his roster would've been exactly the same from the Trinidad game.
But what makes me pissed off as hell is we could've done some damaged had we made the world cup with these up and coming youngsters...

Adu and Green were over-hyped, but given opportunities:
Green goal in the World Cup
Adu saving us from the REAL embarrassment and the thing we've been sweeping the rug for YEARS NOW... becoming Panama's equal.. or lesser
So... yea I mean some youth aren't playing club team football, but they're still more quality than the guys who are getting, and have gotten chances.
I understand the hilarity of the situation, it's weird to be touting unproven talent, but that talent is unproven against elite talent in Europe, not against MLS.
I'm not being dismissive, the only thing I counter is this notion that "they're not ready". Right now, McKennie is far less proven that alot of CM's but he's better than majority of them.
