In the squad vs Reims. Hope we get to see him get some minutes. It's been a long tough road this past year for Timmy

Seems he got 11 minutes at the end.

One good thing about all this covid has been the injury break Weah was on- he didn't miss any of the World Cup qualifiers. By having them start so late (even the nations league I suppose, which I don't advocate for Weah playing he needs less mileage on his legs this year), it gives Timo a chance to get back strong and fit before the pressure games start. Hopefully he stays healthy and can be fully integrated before the World Cup qualifiers get going full steam.

Pretty active/lively for a brief stint like that. Probably should have had a goal.

He had a little bit of rust from what I saw which is to be expected. I also saw around 35 seconds into the video. He could've made a run off the ball towards the corner to give his teammate an outlet to pass off when the double team came.

That play where he wins the ball and cuts in from the left - even though he missed and even though it was in transition not possession- that's the position Gregg is probably looking for Timo to play. Just about the top corner of the box coming in from the right. So hopefully he gets a decent amount of time over there for Lille to help him polish his skills. But that's a good look into the future for the USA. Gregg has always (at the crew) played his fullbacks high and his wingers pinched in. Think Justin meram and Ethan Finley. Pulisic and Weah are infinitely better to operate the same system.
