Well look at that Weah starting at striker today. And has the opening goal against Bayern. I have a feeling we will see Weah a lot more at striker this season. Have always felt that is his best position.

And how many players do PSG have that were in the knockout stages of the World Cup? I think this was more out of necessity than what will happen.

Tim Weah with the start at striker in the French Super cup and gets a goal as well. Looking more and more likely he will see significant minutes with PSG at striker and as a wide fwd this season.

He's lucky to play under a coach like Tuchel who risks youth rather than an Ancelotti type who favors veteran players. Weah is earning his minutes in the future with current production.

Sounds like Weah is starting at "striker" today in their opening game against Caen. Has really impressed Tuchel. Hopefully he can keep up scoring and impressing. Mbappe on the bench. Must still be out of necessity?

Yep. Early reports were false. I retract my statement. But good to see him in the 18.

1-0 after 10 min. Get a couple more so Weah can get on at halftime.

Ha, robbed it right off the keeper's foot for a goal! He looks like a guy who wants to make a statement out there.

All coaches in every sport love a hustle play for a goal, and getting his goal pressing high is exactly what Tuchel likes to see. Weah's commitment level should not be understated. It is moments like these that will keep earning him minutes under Tuchel, who will reward the youngster with valuable gametime and tactical knowledge. Let's just enjoy the growth of Tim, especially since the next four years at club level for the whole program is really what's important. Weah wants the success, for us as fans, appreciating his rise and watching his growth are supposed to be fun. Let the pressure be on him at his club, but for us, enjoy the ride.
