There is friendly date in March.

A) who would you like to see the USMNT play?
B) who would you like to see called up?

I would love to see a South American team I.e Peru or Paraguay and a European team I.e Holland or Italy.

Here is my projected roster:

GK: Gonzales, Horvath, Steffen, Hamid

Defense: Yedlin, Moore, Robinson, Vincent, CCV, Miazga, Brooks, Zimmerman, Glad

Middies: Mckennie, Williams, Acosta, Parks, Roldan, Gonzales, Adams

Attackers: Wood, Novakovich, Agudelo, Sapong, Gooch, Lennon, Sabbi, Pulisic, Wright, Morris

I would take out Parks, Roldan, Agudelo, Wright, Sabbi. (of course if they break out by then, then so be it)

I'd add Lleget, Rowe, Saeif, Manneh, and Sargent.

Hard to argue with 2tones list of players. Would not be surprised to see a veteran guy on that back line like Ream or Besler called in. I think Seaif will be the one who in Navi's group who is a guarantee.

I would expect Kyle Scott and Emmerson Hyndmann to be on loan and playing meaningful minutes so depending on form they may be in the reckoning as well.

Rumor has it that Kyle Scott would have been loaned to Reading if the Drinkwater transfer to Chelsea had happened a few hours sooner. And looking at the injury and fixture situation at Chelsea, it is not out of the realm of possibility he makes his Chelsea debut at Qarabag.

Hmm. Maybe Lletget and Saief. I'm not that impressed by Rowe. And it seems many coaches agree. Sargent is a possibility. Manneh needs to really show more with Columbus.

November & March friendlies are difficult to predict what players will be called in due to the MLS Schedule. MLS is just starting in March/April so many of the MLS based players are still trying to trying to knock off the rust. In November MLS is in the midst of play-offs, and most clubs don't want to risk their best players. For these reasons friendlies in these months are often heavily populated by European players. Besides we'll see the bulk of the MLS guys in the January Camp.

Keepers: Horvath, Hamid, and 1 of the following 2....Steffen & Gonzalez
Defense: Yedlin, Moore, Miazga, Brooks, CCV, Robinson, Lichaj, Glad/Zimmerman
Midfield: Pulisic, Saief, Gooch, Arriola, McKennie, Williams, Gonzalez, Scott, Hyndmann
Forwards: Wood, Sargent, Novakovich, Wright, ArJo

Some players in Europe need a change of location (Loans/Sale in January) in order to be in real consideration....Hyndman & Scott...but otherwise I think this is our best options.

By that time, this is what I am posing as our best starting 11:

--------Wood
Lleget----Pulisic---Lennon
---Gonzalez--McKennie
Robinson-Miazga-Brooks-Yedlin
--------Steffan

I know not too many people are in the Lennon and Lleget camp, but for me, they are our most dynamic wide midfielders.

I like Lletget a lot. If he comes back 100%, Imo, he'll be an important player for us.

I also hope we bring in Sargent at every opportunity. He's so much better than the other fringe dudes....cut to the chase Wood/Sargent with Pulisic underneath....or if we play a 4-2-3-1, I think Sargent would be versatile enough to be a flank mid attacker if Wood was up top.

What do people see in Saeif? I saw many of his online highlight videos and I saw his brief cameo in the USMNT game, none of them were particularly impressive. He plays in the Belgian league, what is the big deal?

He's a 23 yr old champs league caliber left winger that can play 1v1, cross, and finish lol.
How many champs league left wingers are in the pool?

Seriously, if Saief was a great player, he'd be out of Belgium by now. He looked in his 20 minutes before getting hurt like a good player who could be of some help, probably off the bench.

Speaking of good but not great, anyone watch enough of the Mexican league to see how Alejandro Guido's looked at Tijuana? I see he's been getting more minutes lately.

IT IS TIME TO GO WITH OUR YOUNG GUNS!!!! You can bring Bradley to March camp, to help "mentor" the younger guys. But, that is really it. No playing time for him.

These "KIDS" like McKennie, Wright, Parks, Weah, Moore, Gooch, Gonzalez, and more are fighting day in and day out for their jobs and learning way more than their MLS equivalent.

I know the argument, you are going to damage the "kids" by letting them play too young against "international" teams. Umm, they are playing on clubs comprised of players better than most of our CONCACAF competition. They will not play down to the competition like our team did on almost ALL of our away fixtures in this past HEX. These "KIDS" have the mentality to fight and attack and have the ability to keep possession. What we also need is a coach who will not bow down to the USSF and pick the players who they want to base their marketing campaign around.
