Are there games scheduled and who should be interim coach? I'd say Brad Friedel or someone like that.

I think Tab is USSF's easiest pick for interim coach and he's also my top choice. We have had so many players in the past two U20 cycles that I would like to see for the MNT and they all know Tab well.

I dont think Tab is a great tactician by any means but I am not that interested in winning in the near-term. I just want to see young guys get a chance.

I would much rather lose a game 3-0 with young guys than win 2-1 with mostly the same core that we just watched in the WCQ.

On an interim basis he makes sense...long term not so sure.

It's truly amazing to me that people like you exist. You're a total clown. A caricature of a human being. Racist, insecure...like a 10 stereotypes in one online persona.

I guess that means you hate gays, blacks, and Latinos as well, surprised you even watch the USMNT with all that diversity out there

Man, you mouthbreathers on both sides in this absolutely stupid argument... Not everyone on both sides, just the stupid comments like this.

For the record I voted for Trump as well because I didn't trust Hillary for a second.

And this sure took a twist

Okay, I'll respond and them I'm done talking politics on here, if you want to continue our political discussion you an PM me.

First, I'm not angry. My original comment was probably 60% joke/40% truth.

I 100% did vote for Trump! I can't stand Hillary or our political system as a whole and therefore wanted to vote an outsider in. When it comes to politics I'm a centrist. For economical issues I'm very much a Republican and social issues I'm very much a Democrat. The disaster I speak of is Donald Trump himself. The incessant tweeting, the massive ego trips, the constant attacking of people who might take a different stand than him. How about his Inauguration stance that it was the most attended ever? That's the kind of disaster I'm talking about. If our President is willing to lie and make up stuff to stroke his ego about things that don't matter at all what's he willing to do when it's crunch time.

I'm in agreement with you about the media and it goes both ways. You can't get unbiased political reporting in this country anymore. Fox News acts like Trump is amazing, CNN and MSNBC can't stop talking about Russia. All AWFUL and WORTHLESS.

I disagree with you about the amount of racists that support Trump though. I'd say it's closer to 10%-15%, but that also includes people who discriminate as a whole. The main reason I've turned against the right lately is the ALT RIGHT. It's the only group in this country who thinks they have a right to discriminate. His Vice President is most certainly in that group. He passed legislation in his state to evict gay people cause you don't like them. The far right hides behind this term "religious freedom" which is essentially the right to discriminate gay people. That's the kind of stuff that makes me angry.

Overall I'm not sure what I wanted to accomplish with Trump, I didn't really think he would do anything for the middle class, but I really just wanted to throw a bomb in to Washington. In that respect I guess it's been successful, he's certainly shaken things up. But overall I think as the President he's a disaster, all he cares about is his image and calling the people out who cross him. That's also why I get surprised when someone still supports him who isn't a racist or bigot, you can still be a Republican without supporting Trump. I see people drinking the Kool-Aid and I just don't understand it.

If you gave me a re-vote though I'd probably still do the same thing, but 4 years will be enough, if he makes it that long.

You're welcome to PM me if you would like to continue this discussion.

Outside of stuff like "Alt-Right is the only group who thinks they have the right to discriminate" comment (Antifa are the same exact thing, just left wing. It's Nazis vs Commies Act Two, and I refuse to go and "pick a side" between those two), I mostly agree, why is someone who I, as a right-leaning libertarian, seem to agree with so much now start on such a ridiculous, anti-individualistic note with grouping an entire group of people as racist, sexist bigots? Even with 60% of the comment being a joke, as you claim, that was just stupid. Oh, and for my thoughts on Trump, socially has been mixed at best for me, but financially, he's actually done nicely there. Still not nearly satisfied with his presidency at all though.

Oh for christs sake stop with the political bashing on each other. Everyone has their political leanings and opinions.

This is about how to fix a soccer team and program.

You're right, wish I could delete those political comments and just ignore this shit, I never want it to get here.

Portugual announced a friendly against the US. I expect Portugual to bring its first team as they have a limited number of friendlies between now and the World Cup. I hope who ever coaches this game does not get scared and goes with a Dempsey led lineup. I would not mind seeing Howard on roster but not playing, same can be said for Bedoya you need some veteran presence on bench. I would call Fabian and see if he would play leftback, since we have no real options

My roster goes:

GK: Hovarth, Gonzalez (maybe Yarbourgh if Gonzalez is in playoffs), Howard/Rimando

Defense: CCV, Miazga, Cameron, Yedlin, Johnson, Lichaj, Robinson

Midfield: Acosta, Arriola, McKennie, Saeif (if healthy), Gonzalez, Careloton, Davis

Attackers: Pulisic, Weah, Sargent, Wood, Wright, Akinola

Depending on Playoff's maybe keep Davis and Acosta home. Woyld not be shocked to see Bradley here but hope they all say give him and Jozy some time off to stay with Toronto.

Lineup

Hovarth
Yedlin Miazga CCV Johnson
Gonzalez McKennie
Arriola Pulisic Saeif
Wood

Unless he's still hurt, I'd be really surprised if a new coach isn't calling in Brooks.

Same about Saeif. He may not get call due to injury and fitness. I know I am in the minority, I am not sold on Brooks. Our best CB, but his health and inconcistency bothers me. I would rather see a backline of CCV and Miazga, let their growth begin.
