blaise, I like how you don't even bother to name the keepers, and how at least 4 of the players you say should have played today are injured. No McKennie?

Saief I'm not sure, it's been about 2 and a half months now since his 2 month period added from complications and I saw a video of him jogging around, but not sure if match ready.

It's just a couple people; at the end of the day this is just a game, a game we happen to not be very good at at the moment...

The next tournament is Summer of 2019 folks. Just friendlies for another 2 years. Next World Cup is in 5 years. THEREFORE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO CALL ANYONE WHO IS CURRENTLY 28 years old or older. That means MICHAEL BRADLEY RIP, HOWARD RIP, GUZAN RIP, DEMPSEY RIP, OMAR F'IN GONZALEZ RIP, MATT BESLER RIP, GEOFF CAMERON RIP, GRAHAM ZUSI RIP, BEASLEY RIP, VILLAFANA RIP, JOZY ALTIDORE RIP (hes 27 but fuck him), DARLINGTON NAGBE RIP (hes 27 but fuck him).

All callups for November friendlies and 2018 friendlies are to be players between 17 years old and 27 years old. NONE of the above players should ever be called up ever again!

To add to your list 2tone, I'd include Kelyn Rowe, Brooks Lennon, Chris Durkin, Andrew Carleton, and hell even George Acosta. You need to remove Cameron and Morrow from that list for being too old.

I'm with you 100.

I can't believe John Anthony Brooks will be 28 years old next world cup.

IF we qualify.

I would move on from Brooks. He cannot stay healthy and I question his consistency and heart. I would go even younger if you are older than 24 see ya, unless you are already the best we got ie Yedlin. Just start with the u 23 and younger and go for it. I would not mess around with this group that has produced nothing.

Hamid and Johnson where suppossed to be those next guys at keeper. Wether it was Arena or Klinnsman never picking them, staying healthy or being consistent they never took the bull by the horn. Those two are the poster children of that age group. They have talent but little to no fight to get in. They are the epitome of that 24 to 30 year old group, talent but always a reason to never fight into the 23.

You question Brook's heart, are you freaking kidding me? Did you watch the Copa America, he kept us in every game and was one of the best defenders of the tournament and he was what, 22? 23? Can't deny the injuries but when healthy he's our best defender by miles and in 5 years he'll be in the prime of his career, why don't you go ahead and move on from Pulisic too....douche

Brooks is top European team quality talent.

Yes that matters.

Noone else on our backline at the moment is. I don't know where you are coming with this.

I think the notion that any player over X age should be given the boot is too much of an over-reaction. There are players that are 25/26 and over that have plenty to contribute still. Just throwing youth teams out there is going to result in a lot of beatings and may hinder development.

Yes, there needs to a substantial sea change. There are lot of young kids that can now be worked into the senior team. But you still need some professional, veteran presence. Guys like Cam can still provide that and are also among our best 11 still.

There is value in having a veteran on board who has always given his full effort for the shirt each time he wears it. He doesn't have to play, just be a presence in training and on the bench to keep pushing players who are getting complacent.

But those old players ARE the source of the complacency......

The young players can compete with ONE ANOTHER and at their "jobs always on the line" non-MLS clubs.

How is Cam a source of the complacency when he's still playing in Europe, grinding back from multiple injuries, and didn't see the field in the last 2 qualifiers?

I feel like Cam should have been at CDM this whole time.

That being said, I'm more interested how the gareers of Goslin, Acosta, Durkin are going to turn out. Durkin, to me has more upside than Harkes and can contribute as is immediately to United.

I feel Durkin with a year's worth of proper maturity, think Adams after his experience, can be that CDM that Cam should have been this whole time.

Right down to the step over that almost led to a goal for ghana in like the 3rd minute lol. I felt that was very Cam ish.
