Lame that Pulisic isn't getting called up. I get this is considered a meaningless game. To be honest I won't even be watching this game due to it being played in the middle of the day.

No DVR? Its only like 10 dollars extra a month

Don't really get the Bedoya call. The forwards are also a bit strange. Otherwise, I think it is the right direction.

Jonathon Gonzalez is the only glaring omission, IMO. I hope that's more of a nod to the workload he's had at Monterrey rather than some other reason. (edit: seeing some folks refer to Liga MX playoffs as reason for his absence....makes sense)

I agree with not taking guys who are promising but haven't played first team soccer.

Hyndman would be a tough call. I'd just like to get the guy out of Bournemouth....ridiculous to think he can't help them.

Bedoya is the vet. I give zero fucks about him.

No Gonzalez sucks but reading Twitter hes been omitted because of the Liga MX playoffs

Would have liked to have seen Robinson over Villafana, but no major issues with this roster. Looking forward to seeing McKennie and Adams together. My preferred lineup

Hamid
Miazga Brooks CCV
yedlin. Williams Mckennie Acosta
Adams
Agudelo Sapong

I think that's just taking a veteran who will kind of be a player coach for some of these guys. I hope he doesn't take someone's minutes in the Portugal match though.

Only forward i would do differently is maybe Wright but he is more ofba sub right now than starter, plus Green is still out injured.

I get veteran leadership, but Bedoya has had zero impact in the past year in that department. Would rather seen Cameron.

He sat out Saturday with a concussion. I guess that wouldn't necessarily preclude him from participating, but might be the reason for his absence. Agree in that I'd prefer him to Bedoya all things equal.

Didn't realize that. Alright it does beg the question considering Villa would have a younger replacement in the form of Antonee Robinson.

Key is they were going to call in Jonathan Gonzalez, which is great. Hey, this is the first roster release I have been almost completely satisfied with in ages.

Lineup I'd like to see (not what I think will happen).

------Dwyer
---Rowe--Adams--Gooch
--McKennie--Williams
Villafana-Miazga-Brooks-Yedlin
-------Horvath

Then toss in a Josh Sargent sub in the 70th minute.
