Rumor I just heard is that Tab Ramos is the man selected. I like it (if true).

I like it. It also probably means Berhalter is going to the Galaxy.

I think these last friendlies put Stewart into action immediately.

Especially the comment from Sargent stating the USMNT still doesn't have a clear identity.

I'd be alright with Tab Ramos but prefer David Moyes

Ugh!

Imo, there's a huge drop from Martino and Berhalter to freaking Tab Ramos...his player selection is questionable and his game management is poor.

Man, I hope this turns out to be bullshit.

And Tab could have been made manager a year ago.

as far as his player selection goes- it's widely thought Novakovich would've helped that u20 while making EPB a #6 was a stroke of genius. I think he's been limited by the age groups in the player pool. I also prefer his technical brand of soccer compared to many other American coaches. Martino isn't an option and we didn't go for Osorio- and is berhalter the better option? That's also debatable.

I'd prefer none of the above as the full head coach at this time.

Peyrera is an Idiot, He Always talk down on the MLS and The USNMT. Plus he is not always right, but just in case that he is on this one. I'm for Tab Ramos as a Coach, He has been with the US national team thru the Youth and as assistant to JK. I think he deserved a shot to the USNMT. But I really would like to see Tata Martino we need someone with that different style.more Technical, S. American sway, more equal balance when it come to attacking and defending. the cheating style (in a good way) I don't like the USA to be a Nice guy sometime you have to play a bit dirty on your face kind of play. That is what we need.

Reading refused to release Novakovich for the u20 tournament. Tab was quite pissed about that.

If it's true and Ramos is named the coach my guess is Sarachan will still be the coach next month due to the U20 qualifying tournament. But make no mistake that the players called in will be selections Ramos makes.

Martino said #USMNT leadership never reached out to him. Wouldn't say he was interested b/c he said it's a waste of time to think about possibilities that don't seem realistic or likely. #ATLUTD

No one knows what USSF is doing anymore. After these next friendly fixtures I bet a coach will be named.

Sven Goran Eriksson took the Philippines job. Not saying he's who I'd want, but look at his pedigree and that job and look at us more than a year with Sarachan as a caretaker.

I'm not pushing Berhalter but let him manage Seattle, LA (either one), NY (either one) or Atlanta. He's had a lot of success for a low level team who would've probably moved if it weren't for the brand of soccer Berhalter plays. He doesn't have the budget the other MLS guys have but he makes it work.

Having said that I'd like a real option. Maybe Van Gaal would come. He's always been brave.

Once Martino declared he wouldn't be coaching Atlanta next season, things got real. Even though the rumors are he'll be going to Mexico, I wouldn't be surprised if USSF is making a mega hard push right now.
