The troubling thing is profile of the players effort in the Trinidad game was so similar to the two games preceding JK's firing. Two different coaches, pretty much the same group of players give or take a few guys.
A lot needs to be fixed, but I'm furious at half the players for being so mentally weak. The one thing you would think Bruce would prioritize...having players that actually gave a shit...players with heart and grit. We were paralyzed by a bunch of fucking no heart no-shows.
That teams was full of deceivers who withered when it got tough. True Arena should have done better with the tactics and starting 11, but the players, barring Pulisic, Yedlin and Besler, came up ridiculously small. With Dozy being the smallest of them all.
The one saving grace is we have quality forwards coming up through the ranks and Dozy won't get a sniff of the field come 2022...thanks for the mopey, lazy, mentally fragile shit-show you're done.
Sorry for the rant, but I wanted Nagbe and Dozy to get subbed off after 5 minutes of the game.
I need to chill out...still working thru the anger phase.

Why...your anger denotes passion and we need a lot more of that for the sport.

I think we need Oxford style televised debate with ex-players, fans, "MLS experts" and USSF...
I am afraid, nothing will pan out of this and the change will be driven by mostly naive and under educated Soccer Media.
USSF may end up choosing top of the group MLS coach (of the year) and we will be in similar limbo after 5 years of worthless shit.

But you all needed to wait a few months then the new season started.
Now we have to wait for 4+ years :-(
We'll win it all, some day

It is actually less than two years until the next Gold Cup. We win that one and we get Confed Cup

If there is a confed cup, with a winter World Cup I'm 2022 there's talk of no Confederations Cup before hand

There is a lot of pressure from the other nations in the region to have the WC moved from Qatar, so a winter WC may be premature
