Funny how you all are saying the fucking same shit I've been talking about for the last 2 years.
We would've got bounced in the first around anyways.

A 19 year old kid had more heart then seasoned vets. The team should be built around Pulisic who should be th captain. Kid never gave up and had two goals and an assist in two games. Clearly the best player technically and more heart. Find more players like Pulisic now!

I was way more distraught when we lost to Ghana in 2010. This is a good thing. Because guess what? If we had qualified tonight, not a damn thing changes. We stay on this course until next summer, and I think even if we lost all 3 matches, we would still stay the course.
This absolute failure is *hopefully* the best thing to ever happen to the USSF and the USMNT. But...that's only if we make wholesale changes. If we do some cosmetic changes and put on a band-aid or two, this will have all been for naught.
Time to pull a Germany. And guess who was there for that German revolution? I ain't sayin, I'm just sayin.
Excellent take dunlopp. I'm buying what you're selling tonight
If you don't love it, leave it, USA #1

I am just sad that Pulisic wont be in the WC.
Bradley - Out
Jozy - Out
Villafana - Out
FJ will be aged out
Chandler Aged out.
Get players who are hungry, even if they are in Level 2 leagues in Europe/Mexico and MLS ofcourse.

Still may not change anything. Did you see how Bruce was sucking upto MLS in the conference?

What do you want to see in the near term? As a good will gesture I want to see two friendlies in November under an interim manager with the sole purpose of getting some of the youngsters first team reps. That won't win over any casual fans but it would mean something to me.

From Sebastian Salazar:

No more Dempsey. No more Bradley. No more Fabian. No chandler. No more cameron. No more Gonzalez or Besler. Arriola is and always will be mediocre, no more him. no more zusi.No more Tim Ream. No more altidore. No more Wondo. No more bobby wood unless he starts banging in goals for Hamburg. No more Howard or Guzan. I literally don't want to see a single player with more than 40 or 50 caps and/or 24 or 25 y/o or older.
Sunil out! Replace him with Klinsmann. Bruce out! Replace him with Tata Martino, if he'll have us.

Weston Mckennie, Jonathan Gonzalez, Tyler Adams, Josh Sargent. We can start with them.
Fearless kids taking chances already starting for 1st team in first division. except Josh Sargent who according to him will be with first team next season. But that the kind of fearlessness we need.
Im tired of this group this just broke the camals back. Like Lalas said a bunch of overpaid millionairs.

Agree. 3 things need to happen:
1) Gulati to resign.
2) Assign an interim coach
3) November Friendlies....Basically make it squad of 24 and under players:
This defeat, and missing out on the WC is going to have ripple effects that will hurt the sport for years to come. Lost $$, Lower Attendance (USMNT & MLS), Lower TV ratings, etc....

I'm still dumbfounded by the lack of effort by a good portion of the players in that game.
It is all there to play for...
Even an average amount of effort would have given us a point.
When you see guys hardly moving at all...no interest in putting the effort in to win second balls. Standing around after making a bad pass... Just an infuriating game from Jozy. The effort was so bad it looked like we were deliberately trying to throw the game.
You look at the intensity the Hondurans and Panamanians were bringing...playing for their WC lives. Then you look at our bunch standing around waiting for something to happen...truly sickening. Just 4 days after giving max effort to beat Panama in a solid cohesive effort.....same freaking 11...and they're not interested in giving enough effort to go the WC.
