I thought you intensely disliked him?

I mean I do. I don't know about meee. Who is going to blame his entirely misleading stats on?

I can't tell if Carlisle is trolling Arena with an earlier comment or whether Arena actually said this after the game?

Arena: "To make any kind of crazy changes would be foolish."

No, I think he's alternately foolish and smart.

The only good thing is that it ends careers for ppl that should not be there anymore. Sucks though to miss out and have anthing to look fwd to soccerwise for years when you really only support the USMT.

Missing is probably more damaging than the good part of changing the guard.

I hope he's going at him with that, but Arena might be that dumb to have said that, we're finding out.

Sunil Gulati, out. Bruce Arena, out. Michael Bradley, out. DeMarcus Beasley, out. Omar Gonzalez, out. All the other old scrubs, out. Change everything NOW.
If they have any good frame of mind, which I highly doubt now a days, we will drop many other players, right away...

Dont worry mate, Bradley, Jozy, Villafana is not going anywhere...
Cameron on the bench, why the fuck was Gonzalez playing again?

I do feel bad for Omar, on a human level. From Carlisle.

Omar: "It's the worst day of my career." Said he's incredibly sad right now. "Sorry to the US fans." #usmnt

I'm putting this on Bruce, Omar consistently makes these kinds of mistakes and should never have suited up in a must draw game.

Yes, skangles and Live, it hurts.
This has been my runaway #1 team since 1989 you guys.

This shit is excruciating.

Also, I got Twellman's back.

When I saw the lineup I turned to my wife and said we are going to lose.

I frankly cannot come up with the appropriate adjective to describe Arena's thinking...inept, stupid, naive. We had to win against Panama so that lineup there made sense. Today it was IDIOTIC!

He allowed acres of space to a young team with legs and our attacks were all funneled through the middle because their young fast wingers pinned our backs back.

A nice sensible draw...play a boring 4-4-2 or even a 4-2-3-1. Heck, if you want to get exotic, play a 3-4-3.

Enough about Arena.

This team needs cohesiveness and energy. It was like I was watching 11 strangers even though they played together 4 days ago.

I won't fault Omar for the OG...these things happen. But that being said, we have better players in his position.

Nagbe apparently cannot play on 4 days rest.

Howard, Guzan, Rimando...thanks for your service.

Micheal Bradley...please give your armband to Geoff Cameron and be prepared to fight for your place with Hyndman, McKennie, Acosta and others.

Let's hope the younger generation stays hungry and doesn't go soft.

In a way, this may end up being an important lesson to our youth teams that you cannot take anything for granted.

I have a good friend that lives there. I could use a Yuengling or pitcher.

Apparently there is a whole clip of Twellman

Thats why Twellman is one of the best. He always knew something was suspect and he waited to see what they would do tonight to say what he had to say

Of course it's not their fault for being called up, but they should also be willing to just step away and let the next generation take the torch. Beasley and Omar shouldn't have been on this team any time in the past 2-3 years or more even.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
