Good first club, they have struggled in the first bundesliga the last few years but they are a regular in the top division, what do you think?

Has there ever been the story of a guy going to a mid level team and becoming their talisman? Then to break their hearts when he goes ona transfer to Bayern? Not saying Josh is that guy...just that we haven't had that guy.

The upside is the world for this kid but he has to get there first. I would love for him to be our Lewandoski(sp.).

Does anyone want to throw a kegger with me based on the fact he chose Germany over England? So we actually have hope he can develop!?

Pulisic could become that at BvB if he continues to develop over the next couple years. He's a starting to be a significant contributor @ BvB, but he's not yet a talisman/key player for BvB. There has already been some interest from some of the big boys, but he's not there just yet.

Party time. Could he really be that striker we've been waiting for? I say yes and that he may even be better than Pulisic and McKennie. Great vision and feel for the game from Sargent.

I am having a kegger because he chose Europe over MLS

I will say the English academies have greatly improved over the last 5 years and while it was a black hole, I believe the situation has improved. You can remind me of this post in three years.

I feel like, and maybe biased here, that BVB is a bit over mid level.

I'm talking Stoke status.

Or like Deportivo Corunia

In other news. I saw Josh Sargent sporting a tatoo in ESPN article.

Alexi Lalas ripped into him for allowing them to write an article.

What about Dempsey leaving Fulham to go to Tottenham? That's the closest we've had Rey. That was only about a year after he led Fulham all the way to the Europe League finals.
(How crazy is that?? If they'd won, Fulham would have had a season in the Champions League... now they are mired in the Championship).

Anyway, I'm with everyone else here. This is a great move... I only wish that he could spend this year training with them instead of in St. Louis, but the World Cup will be good for him.

I also hope Bremen unload ArJo so he can have a shot at restarting his career somewhere.

Way over mid level. One reason Dembele went so high because BVB don't feel like they should be sellers to very big clubs, but Dembele and Barca really forced their hand.

There's only a handful of clubs you leave for at this point from BVB. Chelsea, Man U, (maybe City ), Barca, Real Madrid, PSG, Real Madrid and Fulham.
