I would have thought it to be a no-brainer at the beginning of the year, but given Bournemouths plight and Chelsea's fixture schedule, and the fact Scott has officially been given a squad number who knows? Any predictions?

Oh, and on his profile on the Chelsea page Scott lists his nationality as USA http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/first-team/kyl...

I will predict Hyndmann gets the first minutes but both will get minutes by the new year.

Hyndman. Scott was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to get a few appearances in the 18 while Chelsea had injuries and were still bringing in reinforcements in the transfer window. He might get a run out or two in the League Cup, that's about it. Hyndman has a much better shot of actually playing league games, in addition to cup, especially given Bournemouth's current form.

He's eligible for England, Ireland, & the US...England is stacked at CM so I don't see them calling him up. Ireland isn't very competitive...they'll try calling him, but he may hold off accepting in order to get into the US Squad. US is in need of a back-up for Pulisic....if Scott goes out on loan and gets games I could see him being that player.

Therefore the chances are actually pretty good that he'll pick the US....so long as Bruce or the next manager show a bit of interest in him.

He tweeted congrats to the U20 CONCACAF tournament winning team so it looks likely he will choose us if we give him the chance.

He has played everywhere in cm so that is a plus. He isn't as dynamic as Pulisic so I don't see him as a direct replacement, but he would make the players around him better and can spot a pass.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
