Seems like EPB will be loaned to PSV in the winter transfer window (they're frontrunners currently).

EPB started his first match for Kortrijk today vs Club Brugge in their Belgium League match and is going 90 in what looks to be a 2-1 loss to Brugge. Haven't seen anything about his play.

NAC Breda looks like they are getting several City young players on loan, EPB just being one of them. They flirted with relegation from the Eredivisie last year and the club management was talking about liking EPB's ability to connect defense and midfield. Fingers crossed he can get solid playing time.

Last year at NAC Breda he was let down by crappy teammates on a bad team in a relegation struggle. Rumors are he may be headed to Germany for this years loan. I still think given a run of games to prove it that EPB is the most all around talented defender in the pool. His athleticism, intelligence, and ability to play all over the back line are his strengths. I don't see another player more suited to control the open space that Berhalter asks his defenders to cover, with the exception of maybe Aaron along.

I would really like to see EPB take his game to the next level. I think he will be an important u23 player, and a player who can challenge Miazga, Long, and Zimmerman. But Wolfsburg May have two starting American CB's would be unbelievable chemistry for the USMNT. Edwards is making waves during pre-season and of course Brooks is already a starter.

Food for thought...he could also play as a #6. Would be nice to have someone that can spot danger and neutralize it before it starts.

Gregg so far prefers a QB for the 6, defensive ability be damned.

I think we'll see more of a double pivot. We played McKennie deeper against Jamaica. GB realizes he can't play a single 6 with MB against any decent team. I think we'll see Mckennie very close to MB against Mex.

I'd agree with that. But looking at Palmer-Brown I think he has the ability like I said before to play in space better than a Z-Man or Miazga or Brooks even can.
